"Lovely service. Beautiful grounds. Original buildings are lovely. Shame the “modern” (‘80s?) extension is not more sympathetic. Room very large and nice views, but felt a bit dated. Pillows were harder than I’d have liked. Would have been nice to have a recycling option. All very clean. Overall happy :)"

"I have stayed here a number of times and it just gets better. Comfortable room, great atmosphere and food in the bar/drawing room and Judith looked after me incredibly well. I had a guest in for dinner, she made sure we had a good table and were well looked after and then was on hand at breakfast as I left before breakfast was due to start, and I had a delicious breakfast. I was even given a take away Cappucinno!!"

"On their website it said that food could be ordered up until 8.30pm, i arrived at 8.15 and was told the kitchen was shut. They did however manage to get them to make me something, so im very grateful"

"Lovely hotel with great views. The room was large, bed large and very comfy, and bathroom large and well equipped. We didn't get a chance to go to the spa but had a pleasant walk around the grounds which are well sign-posted."

"We stayed in the family room and it was brilliant! We had so much space even though there were 5 of us in it. The kids absolutely loved the bunk bed! The pool was great especially the baby pool as it was lovely and warm for the baby. Breakfast was super, and staff very friendly. Would highly recommend "
