MI Oasis Getaway! Just 200 Steps to the Beach on a very quiet street

Open for business in 2025! We are ready to host you and your family!!MI Oasis Getaway is a true oasis on both the outside and inside! When you step into our vacation rental, your eyes are immediately drawn to a one of a kind woven bamboo vaulted ceiling and then down to the beautiful Italian travertine tile. Your eye continues to follow the travertine tile to the outside patio. All from the front door!

Want to get around the Island like an Islander by Golf Cart? Rent our Electric 6-passenger Club Car for $500 per week.

The Italian travertine floor is found throughout the home as well as granite in both the kitchen and the bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. A coffee maker with filters and Starbucks coffee provided for those tough mornings and a blender for those smoothies and margaritas.

The dining table seats four with a beautiful view of the front landscaping.

The master bedroom looks and feels like a luxurious hotel room with a King size mattress and soft, bamboo sheets. You also have an incredible view of the soothing rock wall water feature.

The guest bedroom has two extra-long twin-size mattresses with soft, bamboo sheets. Lots of extra bedding is found in the closet.

The master bedroom closet is packed with bathroom and beach towels.

The outside oasis has beautiful mature palm trees and a lush, landscaped yard. We have plenty of games for all ages.

Our MI Oasis Getaway is just 200 steps from the white, sugar-sand beaches found on the Gulf side of Anna Maria. We are also located one block north of Pine Street, directly behind famous Poppo’s Taqueria. This location is ideal if you do not want to rent a car as everything is in walking distance, or via the free Island Trolley.

We enjoyed our stay here as it was comfortable, cozy, and quiet-All top tier requirements for us. The beach was a short walk and the property had all the amenities needed that we didn’t have to pack any beach supplies. I was surprised at how quiet it was although very pleased with that! We give this place 5 stars!

Simply Perfect!
We had such an amazing stay in Katy’s VRBO. The unit is just a few steps away from the beach. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We used the bicycles to ride around the island and beach chairs to sit in the sand. Katy was attentive and made sure we were happy! Looking forward to staying there again!

Incredible Stay
We loved every minute of our stay in Anna Maria Island, and wish we would have booked more time. The house was perfect for my husband and I - we used the twin beds in the second bedroom to store our suitcases instead of unpacking into the dresser. The kitchen was well set up, although we chose to eat our for all of our meals. Kate was a great host, and promptly provided additional beach chairs, as the ones we found had broken backpack straps. The location of the house was perfect for walking/biking to different places...our rental car stayed parked the entire time! We would love to visit again soon!

We’ll equipped house with Florida charm very close to a lovely beach. The one issue we had was with Wi-Fi. The host was very responsive in trouble shooting and getting the cable company to repair.

Small Digs, Big Comfort, Great Location
Great first-time trip to AMI and we would book from Katy again. We plan to return sometime - loved AMI! Best things about rental: 1 - Location!! We could be on the beach in 2 minutes and Pine Street is just a block over (Pine street is a fun 'everything' street). The famed City Pier (end of Pine) is only half mile from house. Sandbar restaurant on the beach is 2 blocks away. Truly a perfect location. 2 - Katy is a great communicator. She responded quickly to texts and checked in several times. And we enjoyed meeting her. 3 - the king bed is sooo comfortable. The room has plenty of space and lots of drawers. (Although we used the second room like a closet too.) 4 - Best stocked house we've stayed in: sunscreen, coffee, spices, enough paper goods for the week, soap, etc. (Not like other rentals) Plus a beach wagon, chairs, umbrella, floats, toys, and more, ready for usage. 5 - Overall a very comfortable, convenient stay for us. To Consider: The space was very livable and the sectional sofa nice for lounging after an active day. But this is a small beach rental with only a side yard (albeit nicely done) we hardly used given cooler temps and earlier dusk. We are active people who do things until after sunset and go to bed early so great for us. (and we liked sitting out front.) But if lounging around an aesthetic yard is important to your vaca, you might be happier in the other side (same building), which has a nice pool and larger outdoor space.

Thoughtful Amenities
We enjoyed a family getaway in MI Oasis Getaway and OHasis Getaway I, also known as a House Divided and had an amazing experience! You can’t beat the location!? Restaurants and shops are a short walk away. You can smell the donuts from Donut Experiment cooking in the morning. More importantly, the home is a very short walk to the beach! No car or golf cart needed! When you’re done with the beach, OHasis Getaway offers an awesome pool for cooling off. Both homes were VERY well equipped! We have been vacationing in Anna Maria for 13 years and have never stayed in a house with so many amenities. You can truly pack your bathing suit and sunscreen and leave everything else at home. You have towels, beach bags, chairs, umbrellas, pool and beach toys, beach cart, etc. That’s just the outside! The kitchens are equipped with everything you need for cooking, including spices, coffee, condiments, paper towels, dish detergent, etc. Even the laundry area comes with detergent! Oh! And leave your phone chargers at home. They have those too! The beds are comfortable and the living space is spacious for a family. We never rent the same house twice, but we are already planning our next vacation to MI Oasis and OHasis Getaway!

Wonderful location, great owner
We really appreciated the great communication with the owner, easy and well documented check-in. The golf cart was a nice addition, you need one in Anna Maria, parking is limited and everything is so close no need to use our car. Property was a perfect fit for us and our two kids and the location was minutes walk from the beach, pier, shops and food.

Perfect for a family wedding weekend
We loved our stay! The cottage was fully stocked, which was amazing. Our kitchen had more dishes/glassware than any other place we have ever been. The beach was a 2 min walk from the front door. We went to a family wedding at the Sandbar, and the food was incredible. The only issue that we discovered was the house getting built next door. We were not expecting to have a 7am wake up call, via saws, every morning. Other than that, everything was lovely.
