Quaint Northshore Cottage a few blocks from the village of Anna Maria and the Gulf of Mexico beaches. Sapphire Surf is a “Old Florida” Ground Level House – No Stairs to Climb!

Sapphire Surf is perfect for families, couples or a small group of friends. The house is located with an easy 4-minute stroll down Palmetto or Willow Avenue to the gorgeous white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico or four blocks on North Shore Dr. to historic Pine Avenue that has quaint shops, cafes, restaurants, including the General Store and Ginny’s and Jane E’s. When you’re ready to head to the beach, load up the supplied beach wagon, with the included umbrella, beach chairs, towels and sand toys for a fun day in the sun and surf.

Each bedroom has a flat screen TV and plenty of dresser and closet space. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a bathroom next to it. Our second bedroom has two queen size beds with attached bathroom.

The main living area offers an open concept floor plan with a well-equipped kitchen and dishwasher for easy post-meal cleanup. The open floor plan keeps everyone comfortable in the family room, dining for six and the air conditioning keeps you cool. Designer inspired furnishings and a palette of bright, coastal colors provide a playful yet comfortable space to relax. Flat screen TVs provide your entertainment in the family room and free WiFi access is available throughout the house to keep you connected. Throw your laundry in the private washer and dryer and wash your worries away.

The backyard is your own private piece of paradise. The private heated (October-April) pool is nestled among native palms for a very private experience. You’ll have your choice of two dining areas, a Weber gas grill, and chaise lounges in the sun or the shade. Lounge in the screened lanai for a reading session, quiet conversation, or board games. Added conveniences include an outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a garage to easily access beach supplies.

We have another 2-bedroom, 2 bath house called Diamond Surf just 5 blocks from Sapphire Surf (VRBO listing #3828343) to offer as well.

Sapphire Surf is equipped with a Keyless RemoteLock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest’s stay.

Great Get Away
Your home was all that we needed and then some. It was a nice break to get away from the rainy cool weather in New York. We had a wedding to go to and it was from walking distance so that was a plus. Never been to the west side of Florida before let alone the island. Beautiful and breathtaking. Thanks again.

The Best Vacation Ever !!!
This property was absolutely perfect for our family , close to all you would ever need on vacation - The beach and shelling was amazing - the shopping was a walk away ! The House was PERFECT !!! The backyard was a slice of heaven !!!! Definitely planning our next vacation ;-)

Sapphire Surf is the absolute best home on AMI. Our second stay there and the hosts do such an amazing job making sure the house feels like a home. Well stocked kitchen - everything was clean and cozy. Pool is perfect and the pool accessories they have make it easy to be relaxed and enjoy the sun. Great location to everything too!

The location was perfect for a very laid back vacation. It was an easy short walk to the beach then you could return to the house and pool to enjoy the peace and privacy. Also extremely easy to walk or bike to coffee, restaurants or shops. The house and property itself was wonderful! Even better than the pictures 🙂

Adorable, well equipped home in a fabulous location! Easy short walks to Anna Maria’s top spots. The heated pool was perfect for little ones with its shallow end. Lots of beach and pool toys/equipment, games, books…the little extras provided by the owner didn’t go unnoticed!

This was our 3rd time staying at Sapphire Surf and we are already looking forward to a return trip. Ramona and Mark make everything so easy. The home is well cared for. It is super clean, neat, organized and has everything you would need. The private pool was perfect for those hot days! The location is also an easy walk to the beach. A Gem in a Great Location!
This house was super cute and in a great location on the north part of the island. It was a close walk to the beach and the cute shops and stores. Mark & Ramona were great to work with and quickly responsive to any questions of concerns. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for accuracy of online listing is that it was hard to find the address in the information given to us. And it needs to be updated on Zillow. It still shows photos of the old house and no pool. Scared us a bit that we got the wrong house! We would definitely stay here again!

Little oasis close to the beach
The rental was exactly as described. Very clean and a nice set up including a great outdoor space and screened in porch. The house had 2 bedrooms, one was large with a walk in closet area that housed toys and a play area. The garage was stocked with everything to meet your beach and pool needs. The house was located within a short walking distance of the beach, coffee shops and good restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

A very positive experience
The house and property was very clean and well stocked with a high level of positive service. The house demonstrates a high level of pride of ownership and was perfect for us. It is also in a great location , minutes from the beach and some very nice restaurants. The entire island is also very relaxed and a great place to unwind. Our stay was a very pleasant one without anything at all of concern to us.

Amazing!
We had such a wonderful time at Sapphire Surf. The house was everything we needed and more! It has everything you need for the kitchen, the beach, and the pool. Our family of four, including our four year old and nine month old, stayed for five days and hardly wanted to leave. Hot tip, the huge walk in closet in the queen bed room works great for a little baby nursery! The houses location was wonderful too: walking distance to the beach (even for a four year old), walking distance to shops, and very private backyard. Thanks so much for having us! We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful stay in AMI
House was exactly as described. Tons of pool and beach accessories, kitchen fully stocked (with exception of a pizza cutter), plenty of towels and awesome screened in porch. Our stay was so wonderful. Only complaint would be the king size bed is in need of replacement. Having said that I would definitely stay at this house again. Owners were super accommodating and available to answer any questions.

Wow!! We have been to AMI several times and stayed at a different house each time. We don’t have to worry about that anymore, this house and property manager Ramona have won our hearts with Sapphire Surf. Location, location, location and the house was super clean!! The pool was amazing and I am a pool girl!! A short 2 block walk to the beach, and of course the glistening blue water and soft white sand beaches are a big reason we come to AMI. Very centrally located to several of our favorite spots. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Mark and Ramona!!

AMI Trip
Overall the house was as advertised. The stove top was broken when we arrived but this was not the fault of the owners and we were notified immediately. The only thing that I think needs some attention is the dishes in the kitchen. There were several dishes that were dirty and we ended up washing everything we used before using it. The rest of the house was very clean and we liked being able to walk to the beach and to restaurants and ice cream places. We felt safe in the neighborhood as well. We also very much appreciated the early check in and late check out that were made available to us. That was really very helpful.

Very Disappointed !
We arrived on a Monday, House was clean and had everything you needed. Contacted the owner on Tuesday morning because the HEATED pool was to cold to get in.They responded and said they would take care of it. Tuesday called them again because it was still to cold to get in! Wednesday pool man was coming should have warm pool by the end of the day.Wednesday night a bit warmer but still not able to get in. Our son and girlfriend return home on Thursday never being able to use pool. Very disappointing! Friday the pool still not holding a warm temp.Gave up on it. Was awaken every morning to construction NOISE, every morning starting at 7:00 am until 4 or 5 each day. There is construction all around you. They just started building a new house right across the street! The walk to the beach you have to stay clear of all construction vehicles running up and down the road. At one point there was 10 construction vehicles parked in front of the house, they were everywhere. When you sat outside you had to deal with concrete dust clouds coming over the house from all the concrete sawing that was being done. We wont be return to the Island.

Disappointing end to a nice stay
Cute house in a quiet neighborhood. On our first day (Sat)we went for a swim. The pool water was cloudy and there was a horrible smell, so much so we couldn’t swim. The owner was notified that same night. Monday she finally said they sent the pool service out but there wasn’t anything wrong with the pool, however they treated it anyway. Either way the water cleared up and the smell was significantly better. The ceiling fan in master bedroom was so loose it had a use extreme caution label on it we couldn’t use it out of fear of bodily harm. My husband actually ended up tightening all the screws back up on it while we were there so we could use it We had a nice week and headed out late Thursday. On SUNDAY days after we left I get an email asking about us breaking their stove!? We never even used the stove. After asking what they were talking about they emailed a zoomed (no surroundings visible) in picture of a glass stove top that was broken. We tried to call and talk things out(sun afternoon) as anything could have happened in the 3 days after we left. They said they’d call back after talking with repair man, but today (Tuesday) I get an email stating I have been charged for the stove top that I never touched and claimed it couldn’t be fixed because it was too old. I hate that it is broken, but there was a large unaccounted time frame before anything was said…and we didn’t do it. I am just sad. I am a leave things better than you found them type girl so this just stinks.
