"Everything went fine. I did not find the bed comfortable, but my wife and family said they had no issues. I felt like the bed was hard. The breakfast was fine, typical of a free continental breakfast, nothing super special. They did offer the ability to make regular sized Belgian waffles and small ones as well as pancakes so having those options were nice. The hotel overall was clean and the staff we encountered were friendly."

"My Place Hotel in Akeny IA is more of a quick, economical, budget friendly hotel. Room and accommodations, bed all sufficient, however the Hotel is used by many traveling service people so as a single woman, I felt it wasn’t perhaps as safe that had a greater mix of families. That said the hotel is in a great location with restaurants, the halls are well lit, and overall a very good choice for the price."
