"This has been my second stay at Hotel Abest Shinanjo Ekimae for business. It is one of those basic but functional three star provincial business hotels. It is very conveniently located within a 2min walk from the train station and within a stone’s throw of very good local restaurants and shops. "We were a family with young children and stayed for 4 nights. The hotel itself is great - the size and amenities available (they have a whole range of baby items and other handy items that you can request for FOC) is unbeatable in Japan. However, the location of the property itself is in a seedy area, amidst rows of very colorful nightclubs. On the first night, we were awoken at 2am by a fight but otherwise we got back by 8.30pm every night and never felt unsafe."
