"Dear Hotels.com Customer Support, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent booking at Domaine Rampale from May 24th to May 27th, 2024, and to request a refund or compensation for the numerous issues encountered during our stay. Additionally, I would like to address an issue regarding the redemption of my credit for a previous booking. Issues with Domaine Rampale Stay Lack of Communication: Despite booking weeks in advance, I never received any check-in instructions or reminders through the app or email. I attempted to contact the number listed on the website multiple times to arrange an early check-in at 10 am but received no response for days. No Front Desk or Reception: Assuming there would be a front desk, as advertised, we arrived at the property hoping to drop our bags and connect to the internet for an important work call. The intercom button was dead, and repeated calls went unanswered. With no 5G data, we had to drive to find reception, causing significant inconvenience as my partner had to conduct video conferences from our hire car in the countryside. Delayed Access: Finally, after several attempts, we reached someone who mentioned that a private email with the gate code was sent, which I never received. The representative blamed Expedia for the lost email, but I never used Expedia for this booking. We eventually received the code at 3 pm, far too late for our needs, and struggled to find our accommodation "

"The area was beautiful and the villa was a good size for my family. We found the villa a little tired and it would benefit from a little updating. The pool area could be even better if it were refurbished. Overall we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return as we loved the area."

"Our stay was wonderful. Delightful hosts, perfect accommodation for the two of us. Perfect location to explore the coast and surrounding area inland. The gite was comfortable, clean, the pool being a bonus. I don’t think anyone can complain. Perfectly adequate for 2 people. The comment that some one made in June is an insult to the hosts at this gite."

"A bit far… nothing around, no restaurant, no shopping there menu is very limited and a bit expensive. 30 min drive from marseille and 30 min from airport. Overall very comfortable, clean and pleasant overworked staff."

"The villa was perfect for our family's stay in Provence! It was well-equipped with everything we needed (towels, kitchen ware, washer/dryer). We did a lot of day trips in the region (Avignon, St Remy, Cassis, Aix, Nice, Eze, Bandol, La Ciotat, etc) and it was lovely to come back to the pool to cool off and make dinner in the house. Ambi was easy to communicate with - including in simple English. There weren't any instructions in the house, but when we had a question, he was quick to respond. I highly recommend this villa!"
