We love Selah House!
Selah House is perfect for families. We love the short walk to the lake, the deck with so many wildfire visitors, and the comfortable layout. Everything we needed for an extended stay was already there. Such a great vacation home!

We have stayed here before, that’s why we came back! Such a peaceful place, well stocked kitchen, and games, and room for everyone! Oh did I mention the daily visitors! The kids loved seeing all the deer!

We had a great experience! The house was warm, roomy, clean, and had everything we needed! The host was very informative and made sure we had everything we needed prior to our arrival! Definitely would book this one again! We had 4 adults and 6 kids ages 5-10!

great use of space
this was a great set up for our family..the 3rd bathroom was the best addition to this house. the large living room and dining/kitchen area was perfect for us to keep track of the 5 kiddos while preparing meals or playing games. the extra table and chairs were handy but not in the way. very cozy and well appointed but not so fancy we were afraid to let the kids be kids. really cant tell all the great things about this property as i would be here all day. matt was responsive, directions are clear and easy to understand in the helpful binder left there. my 10yr old niece wrote the sweetest note that said it best; WE LOVED OUR SELAH STAY!

Amazing Property
We had an amazing time at this property! The house is perfect for a large family with kids! The communication with property owner was also great! So much to do in the area and cabin is very comfortable! You can tell this family put a lot of love into their 2nd home! Thanks for an amazing week in Angelfire!

Wonderful. Better than expected.
Our time at Selah House was marvelous. Clean, comfortable, and neat. Great views. Very close to the resort, trails, grocery, and lake. The owners were great to work with and if anything the pictures understated the beauty of the location. We greatly enjoyed our time there and will definitely choose Selah House next time.

Great Family Cabin
This cabin is very family friendly in that the floor plan/rooms accommodate multiple family/friend combinations. The kitchen was well-stocked, and they have a great collection of games and books. We enjoyed the birds and deer and the nearby beautiful lake. My only suggestion is improved lighting. But would definitely recommend for family and friends.

Great place and location
We stayed here during a family reunion that was at another cabin. This was the perfect quiet place to retreat to for the little ones naps. Everything was exactly at advertised. The ONLY thing that needs to be done is to take a hose or power washer to the baby high chair. It really needs a good cleaning. Everything else was perfect. Thanks!

Mariah’s Graduation Ski Trip ‘24
We took our 18yo here as well as our family to celebrate her high school graduation. First time skiing and we had a blast! This home was amazing and more than we could have ever asked for! Home owners were so kind and quickly responded to us! You will not be disappointed in renting this home! Well equipped for all needs!! Cozy and comfortable! Eat to get to and close to town! We fed deer off our front porch almost every morning!! ❤️❤️❤️

Enjoyable Getaway
We were so happy with the accommodations. We were a group of nine. I was unsure about the kitchen having all of the kitchen utensils and appliances to accommodate making the sides for a Thanksgiving meal, but we had everything we needed! The entire home was well furnished, clean and comfortable. We loved having access to snow sleds, making for a fun afternoon in the new snow. Plenty of games, books and movies. This is a great place for families of all ages! Thank you to the hosts for making the home a cozy temperature upon our arrival!

Motorcyclists in Angel Fire
The property was exactly as posted on VRBO. Well even better. The owner was very kind to responding to a little hiccup upon arrival. We wish we could have stayed longer but Hurricane Ida cut it short by one day. The guys had daily riding adventures on their bikes. One of our best houses we have rented in Angel Fire.

We truly enjoyed our time at Selah House! Very well equipped home with daily visits from nature!
This home had everything we needed and much more. The only thing we looked for and couldn’t find was a bird book. 😉. They provide bird feeders to hang and that is a must. We all loved watching the different varieties of birds daily. We also had mule deer pass by the house every morning. The owners even provide wood for the fireplace or outdoor fire ring, The beds were comfortable, I believe each bed had a memory foam. We were all very impressed with the accommodations! The owner was easy to contact and replied quickly. Only 4 of us stayed in the home but we commented it would be a great house for a family trip.

Restful Getaway
My wife and I stayed here for our 42 anniversary in August 2015. The setting is quite, a delightful neighborhood and people are very friendly. We enjoyed walking around the lake and I found a nice hiking trail. Our Golden doodle enjoyed the walks and sitting out on the deck with us in the mornings watching the deer that would be feeding around the house. Since there wasn't a high fire danger when we were there, I enjoyed the fire pit at night and the stars were gorgeous. The owner was friendly and helpful with my questions. The owner is in the process of upgrading the interior and this will help as things like the carpet needs replaced. The design of the home is excellent for families. We enjoyed our stay and the town of Angel Fire is about a five minuet drive. There is an excellent golf course nearby and is worth the experience. The home is indeed a place of rest and relaxation. Family getaway
We had a great time at the house. Everything was clean and comfortable. We cooked dinner and breakfast there and had everything we needed. Fireplace kept us warm and we had a great time playing some of the games that were there. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. We would stay there again!
