Cozy Mountain Chalet with Incredible Views!

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath mountain chalet is the perfect place for your family vacation. Nestled in the towering pines above Angel Fire, the wall of windows floods the space with natural light and allows you to take in the views of both the 4th fairway of the golf course and the ski slopes! Relax in the living room with its soaring tongue and groove ceilings and beautiful stone fireplace with handmade mantle. You can even enjoy those mountain views from the kitchen, which features granite countertops, an undermount sink and a long breakfast bar that overlooks the living room. There’s also a dining area that opens up to a large deck. Down the hall, there are two guest rooms – one with a full bed and the other with a set of bunk beds. This main level also has a full bathroom with a granite-topped vanity and tub/shower combo. There’s a laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
Upstairs, the master retreat boasts vaulted ceilings and a beautiful ensuite with a corner shower. The loft area is the perfect place to curl up with a book or a glass of wine. You’ll appreciate all of the custom updates in this lovely chalet.
In addition to the comfortable space, this home features high speed fiber optic Internet allowing you to stream your favorite shows and movies on the Roku TV in the living room or keep in touch with the outside world. This would be a great home for a work-from-anywhere getaway.
There’s a two-car garage for your vehicles and/or your bikes and gear.
This chalet sleeps 6 guests, leaving plenty of space for EVERYONE to dine, relax, play games and get ready for their next Angel Fire adventure. Beautiful View!
My husband stayed in the Cozy Mountain Chalet for a month to escape the Texas heat. The home is situated higher in the mountains overlooking the golf course below. The views are beautiful and the house is probably one of the best stocked rentals we've stayed in. It is perfect for a family or group of friends. We saw lots of different wildlife right by the house, hiking, and roaming around the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

2nd time staying here. We will hopefully return again. Very quiet, plenty of room. Abundant wildlife. Nice sized kitchen and garage. Property is showing a little ware and tear inside and out. Was very pleased to see the driveway improved from last year.

Overall, pretty happy with the stay very nice and clean up-to-date cabin, plenty of amenities nice yard neighbors not to close one other cabin probably 300 ft away Others are in a distance very comfortable place the only thing this place dint have was cable tv so you will need a channel app or something if you want to stream

Great cabin location with amazing views, the cabin could use some maintenance and improvements, there are broken and non functional window blinds, also not the most clean VRBO property where we have stayed before. The carpet is old and stained, for a place like this it would be much better in my opinion installing solid flooring. Barb was definitely helpful. I would stay here again because we loved the view and location, it would just be more confirtable if the cabin were cleaner and renovated… specifically replacing the carpet and putting in new appliances (stove and fridge are too old). Everything else is great!

Awesome mountain retreat!
This mountain retreat was great! Located about 8 minutes to Angel Fire! Roomy house with a beautiful view! Our host Barb was very quick to respond. We had trouble getting up the driveway with all the snow and her husband came right over to help. Definitely have AWD or 4WD to go up. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and comfortable!
Wonderful getaway close enough to the slopes to make it easy if you are skiing like we were. Wonderful kitchen. We brought all our own food and had all meals here. Having the laundry was also so nice! We loved the couches and the ability to build a fire each evening upon our return from skiing! The wildlife was a nice extra! Driveway is VERY steep. Be aware…we got stuck, but the owners were so kind to help us then came back and grated and treated the drive.

Nice Home - Would Rent Again
Nice property overall with some wear and tear. Unfortunately, we were there during a very hot Heat Dome over New Mexico. We wished they had Air Conditioning but realize no one probably has A/C in the area. Would we rent this house again? Absolutely! One side note, Barb, the Property Manager was excellent to speak with and assisted me on the WiFi after a recent SSID and password change.

Quiet get away
It was as advertised - nice house, beautiful view of golf course fairway and ski run across the mountain. One night there were 5 deer bedded down in the back yard. There were some dead bugs, but I'd rather they be dead than alive! The directions to the house could be better. The street signs were very confusing as the names changed and was frustrating until about the 3rd day when we finally got it down! Not a lot to do in Angel Fire, but we were there to relax and that mission was accomplished! Overall, the house was a great deal.

We had such a great time over New Years that we returned for spring break. What can I say? Everything exactly as described in listing and everything in cabin works great. Looking forward to returning again. Great location with view across the valley to ski resort. Roomy and spacious. Garage for parking out of the elements.

The place was clean. Had to buy dishwashing soap since what was there only lasted 2 days. Had some problems getting the driveway plowed, could have been better communication. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Beautiful Cabin
This cabin was the best stocked rental I have ever stayed; there were even sleds that could be used on the property. The pictures did not do the cabin justice. It was nicer in person. I definitely suggest a four wheel drive if there is heavy snow.

Wow. We stayed here for our family of 4's New Year trip to Angel Fire. We loved every bit of this cabin. The use of the garage was a sweet plus as our vehicle was clear from the night's snowfall. Also great to have the extra space to get snowboards and skis out of the car without having to take inside. Barb was great on communication as well and everything was super easy. The view was amazing as we could see the ski resort across the valley. The cabin was cozy with plenty of room for our family. We look forward to returning. Everything was exactly as listed and in working order. We have a Yukon AT4, so the driveway was no problem even with the snowfall. Would recommend as the listing suggests to have 4WD in winter anyways. We've seen people on prior trips have trouble getting out of a condo space with 2WD.

Perfect mountain getaway
The cabin is beautiful and very well stocked with everything you’ll need for a relaxing vacation or an adventure. We were there over Christmas and especially appreciated the sleds and decorations! The location is also excellent, and very convenient to Angel Fire resort or a quick and lovely drive to Taos to explore. We would definitely book this cabin again!
