Located on a plot of 14,000 square meters, Viña Concepción has four bedrooms, living room, large kitchen-dining room and two bathrooms (one of them accessible by wheelchair) on two floors. The house, built all of it in stone and subjected to a recent comprehensive reform, has air conditioning in all rooms, fireplace in the dining room and living room, and has a large terrace on the first floor and three porches on the ground floor, one of them with a children's pool. It also has a barbecue, as well as a dishwasher, washing machine, iron and other appliances. Next to the house there is an esplanade for games and garden areas.
Viña Concepción is located in the Peñallana Vineyards, within the municipality of Andújar and 13 km from the capital of this municipality, one of the most important in the province of Jaén by population, commerce and services. Viña Concepción is just 5 minutes walk from the Visitor Center of the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park and just over a kilometer from the famous Los Pinos Restaurant.
In the area, it is not difficult to see the Iberian lynx, a great variety of raptors, among which the highly protected Iberian imperial eagle, the black vulture, the eagle owl and various high value hunting species.
The Natural Park has the largest spots of Mediterranean forest on the Peninsula, with mastery of holm oak and cork oak, and, at the highest altitudes, where the humidity is highest, the quejigo. It is also crossed by several rivers and swamps, and houses redoubts of species as threatened as the Iberian lynx and the Iberian wolf (the only natural space in southern Spain that conserves population of this beautiful animal, next to a small colony in the Sierra de Hornachuelos) . The landscape of vast pastures dedicated to the breeding of bulls or the hunting of deer, fallow deer, fallow deer, mouflon and wild boar predominates. Thus, the sport of hunting constitutes an economic resource of the first order in the renowned public and private preserves of the Park. It is an ideal scenario for the practice of activities such as hiking or photographic hunting. It has many trails, viewpoints, recreational areas and tourist services. Our Park is known, in addition to its natural values, for housing the Basilica-Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Cabeza on Cerro del Cabezo; La Romería, in April, brings together tens of thousands of people from all over Spain. To this is added an archaeological and ethnographic heritage that is not negligible represented, among others, by prehistoric sites. It should be stressed that our mountain range is the largest starlight tourist destination and reserve in the world, a privileged place to observe the sky in the best conditions (Observatory of the stars in Sierra de Andújar in the Mirador de Mingorramos).
Very remarkable is that the cities of Córdoba, Úbeda and Baeza (declared World Heritage), are only an hour's drive from our accommodation.
The city of Andújar (www. Turismodeandujar. Com), thirteen kilometers away, has an interesting monumental complex in which the Plaza de España or Santa María stands out with the Mozarabic Clock Tower and the church of Santa María la Mayor, of elegant Renaissance bill, which houses in its interior jewels such as the "Prayer of the garden" of El Greco and the manuscript "Sayings of light and love" of San Juan de la Cruz. The city has an attractive nightlife with venues like Arco Chico, which programs live music.
