"Amazing location on a completely private small lake just a few minutes off the Taconic Parkway. Host is very helpful, and very artistic. Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land. "

"We had such a wonderful long weekend away that this home. Everything was exactly as pictured. Home was clean and so welcoming. Location was perfect for all that Great Barrington has to offer. The wraparound deck and fireplace made it all the more special. Communication was excellent and we got quick replies to any questions that came up. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return."

"This was a great, beautiful property to stay at. We are section hiking the AT and even went into NYC by train for a day. There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable. "

"We enjoyed our 2 week stay at this cute rustic cabin. The owner and caretakers were super responsive to our needs during our stay. The only thing that was missing was onsite laundry, but the laundromat was nearby so not a huge inconvenience. Overall, great place to relax in the woods."

"Quiet spot out of the city but not too far from Hudson Valley sites. Large vaulted space, fresh eggs from the hen house next door, sky full of stars at night. Great host!"

"Didn’t like that there are no trays in shower to hold any soaps or bottles while washing… nothing!!! Tub too high for elderly with slightest arthritis. No curtain on shower bathroom window. Took quite a while to get hot water to wash hands in sink. However, the inn is filled with amazing collectibles. The dinner was delicious. Plenty of seats but gave us a table facing wall (but near window) —why not more in middle of room area with more interesting view! And same table for breakfast and dinner until we requested a different table the 2nd time. Friendly service. Twin beds very comfortable better if Full size. Happy to have 2 chairs in room. Wouldn’t stay again due to bathroom issues. "
