The room was clean, and we appreciated the added security at night, with a guard on standby and the front door locked. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our short stay pleasant. "This is a nice, classic hostel. There are a lot of different public spaces here to hangout, including a very nice rooftop sitting area. The kitchen here was well-equipped, easy to use, and readily accessible. I had a private bedroom with bath, which was good. The room needed a chair, however. Very good overall."

"Our group stay at the Palmetto Hotel was fantastic. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to suites and quickly checked in. The staff was super nice and customer focused. The rooms were spacious with a full bathroom plus equipped with an ensuite jacuzzi tub for 2. Facilities were cared for and the property facilities were extremely convenient. A well appointed buffet breakfast plus made to order dishes was included and was fantastic. The only issue was that the suites faced a main road and sound could be an inconvenience to light sleepers, but easily mitigated with a white noise machine or earplugs. The Hotel is an excellent value, near the airport and in a nice populated area of the city with many conveniences within walkig distance. Will definitely recommend this property during a visit to Lima."
