This log home, constucted in 1955 was built by a bush pilot who transported his friend and flight surgeon to remote "bush" villages. The flight surgeon built the house directly next door (and is also available for booking). Eventually, this house was purchased by a Swiss artist who painted fun murals on many of the walls and ceilings, most of which have been carefully maintained over the years. The house is in beautiful condition and extremely unique. Very close to Downtown Anchorage, Universities, the Medical District, and petroleum companies.
This house has three bedrooms a master with an ensuite bath, one queen room with full bath in the hall, and one twin + trundle room with an ensuite toilet and shower. There is a sleeper sofa in the TV room next to the twin/trundle room and a high-quality, self-inflating twin mattress as well. This house can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests.
