If you want to be overcharged for normal issues, that would happen to anyone upon your arrival at a rental. This is the place for you.
The owners of the house charged 200 for a their cheap shower curtain falling upon our arrival, no we weren't bathing, just walked in and it happened to fall. There was no where 200 dollars worth of damage but they insisted on charging for it, a cheap curved shower curtain that someone before us, or maybe even the repair person, had put up that fell and scraped the wall. A little paint would fix. Given that my husband fixes apartments up and his company charges nowhere near 200 for a shower curtain falling that would cost less the $30 to fix, and thats being spendy, shows how disgraceful and intent to take money it appears this owner is. I contacted other places and asked how they would handle it and they also said charging 200 for "normal wear and tear" is extreme. Several had never even heard of charging someone for a shower curtain that doesnt screw into the wall, falling as it does happen.
Also had to contact the owner that the internet was down the second day of our stay, this issue was resolved, which is a plus.
To stay for 2 nights and be charged almost $400 then over charged for something out of our control, and when contacted for an explanation, doesnt respond back is unsettling.
Theres a tv in 1 room, nowhere else. If you want to watch tv everyone has to go to the bedroom with 1 chair. Not exactly family friendly imo
