The apartment was perfect for our stay. It had everything we could have wanted. Every possible kitchen tool was available, tons of towels, etc. to make our stay very comfortable. It was quiet and parking was convenient. The yard area was pretty with ultra green grass and lovely flowers. The location was convenient to everything. Michele was super responsive when I had questions, which was much appreciated. The washing machine had the quickest speed wash cycle I have seen at 15 minutes, mine at home is 36! Overall, very cozy and comfortable! I would stay again in a heartbeat. We were traveling with another couple and they stayed in the cabin next door. Michele owns two duplexes next door to each other for four rental units. You can stay next to each other while having your privacy, which is awesome!

The 1 star review was unwarranted. Was not even in the neighborhood the rental was in. Neighborhood is safe clean, great location. Kids riding bikes around, playing basketball etc. never once felt threatened or worried about my rental car or house broken into etc. 5 star for me. Police patrol the neighborhood on a regular basis. Highly recommend this place. Parking off street also. Within walking distance of restaurants.

Fantastic stay in Anchorage Aug 25-29 2023
We arrived with no issues by google maps and directions listed in our welcome email. We found our marked parking area off the main street. The entire property is fully fenced with multiple simple to use and well maintained gates dividing the other 3 rentals on the property. We had no issues moving our things into the home. Our three older dogs were grateful for the well kept lawn that they could play in while we got settled in. Inside everything was very clean and organized, simple open areas without clutter. We appreciated having a full kitchen and laundry room as well. Bedroom and bathroom was very clean and well maintained. We had work in town and it was only a quick drive from this property to the office and places to get food. We highly recommend staying here especially if you have dogs that love to travel with you like we do. We had no issues with the area during our stay there is some foot traffic as expected throughout the day and a bus stop close by but nothing really within walking distance for shopping or food. We plan to be back in Anchorage this winter and will be using this property again for our stay. Thank you Michele for the hospitality and enjoyable stay!

We were so happy with this property. It was in a quiet neighborhood, right in the middle of Anchorage. We were never far from anything we needed and was a great home base for seeing south central Alaska. We would definitely come back!

Great Find
Michele is awesome. We were lucky to have to found her listing on VRBO. Property is well maintained, cozy with personal tocuhes and has all the necessary amenities and more. She is very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable in the house. The location is ideal closer to downtown and airport. Beautiful garden and a big yard for relaxing and kids to play. We also had a chance to meet her during our stay. She is very friendly, kind and awesome person. Wish her the best and will look forward to staying in one of her properties in future. Thanks !

Wonderful Home & Gardens
Perfect place for a stay in Anchorage. We did a four night stay and found this to be a cute little home with fabulous flower gardens. Inside was super spacious, with comfortable bed, a sweet great room to stretch out and super clean. The kitchen had everything you could think of to cook like you do at home. The flower gardens were a bonus and staying in mid-July allowed us to see so much color and variety. This property is centrally located. The cab ride from the Alaska Railroad Deport was only $10! Lots of shopping close by and many sights and activities were minutes away. Host Michele was quick to respond to our questions and has added many nice touches here. It is perfect for for two!

Been to all 50 states now! The cottage and it's outside plants and flowers were very nice. Nice cozy, warm and welcome feel. Place was well equipped and very clean. A good location to start day trips from. Would recommend the cottage to others and stay again.

Undesirable location.
We checked in property then unpacked. Drove to dinner. On drive to dinner noticed cars on blocks, men loitering surrounding neighborhood. On way back from dinner wanted to go to Walmart. Walmart’s parking lot had a lot of homeless people hanging around. My wife would not get out of car. Drove back to property and packed up our luggage and rented another property in Wasilla, Ak.

Michele was very easy to work with and responsive. I wasn't a fan of the bed or sofa, they were too soft. But that is a personal preference and nothing to do with the quality (which you can tell the mattress was very high quality). My dog loved the fenced yard and just a block down is an elementary school with a walking track.

Outstanding Vacation Rental in Anchorage, Alaska

Great stay!!
We had a great stay for our first time to Anchorage, Alaska. The house is centrally located to lots of places. We used Uber/Lyft and everywhere we went was only a 10-15 min drive. We ate mostly downtown at the restaurants for dinner. We cooked breakfast and made lunch at the house. It was great. Comfortable stay and would do it again!

Nice place to stay
Very Nice Clean Quiet Easy access to downtown and the major north/south thoroughfares. I stayed through Christmas and New Years and the City did a very good job of keeping the roads clear of snow and driveable.
