The location was great and ot made it easy for us to reach where we wanted to be. There were spoces for cooking, which I appreciated in the pantry. There could be aome updates to the peoperty. Under the steps there is a large area of dirt and it appeared that plants may have been in there at some time, but having on dirt there made the area feel incomplete and dirty.

Front door lock is an aggravating mess. Multiple maintenance issues. Nice property that needs attention. Amenities are adequate but spartan.

Property was very clean. The kitchen has great assortment of spices. The garage is a nice bonus on rainy Alaskan days. The location is a short drive from airport and less than a 5 minute drive to downtown restaurant, shops, and museums. The property is a bit dated but still very nice and clean.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds! The walk to downtown was easy, and we walked to restaurants every evening. We would stay again!

Quite neighborhood and close to everything
The house was very spacious and had everything that we needed for our stay. Close to great places to eat and the train station (a must to do when you stay) The thermostat was locked in at 65-67, a little chilly for our taste. Other than that it was an amazing stay, great suggestions on things to do and places to eat!

Gorgeous house
In addition to comfort and convenience, this house has flair. The architecture is unique. We loved the windows, the stairs with indoor garden below, and the huge window overlooking the main floor from the huge master bedroom. This house was perfect for our family reunion.

Great central location!
This rental has a lot of things going for it: it's nice to have a garage to park in and we liked the layout of the home. The primary bedroom is upstairs and away from the living room, as is the second bedroom, which is in the back. It allows those still sleeping to keep doing so without being disturbed by those who are up. There were four of us - two adults and our 17 year-old and 12 year-old. Having our 12 year-old sleep on the hide-a-bed (not a futon) in the primary room with us worked just fine. Be sure you ask in advance to have the bedding for the hide-a-bed ready for you, as we had to ask the housekeeper (who was finishing up as we arrived) for it because it isn't stored where the bed is. The kitchen is pretty well stocked, and we appreciated that there was foil, Ziploc bags and storage containers to use. There are spices in a rack but the salt is coarse and we could not find a grinder. Not a huge deal. We also appreciated that there were standing fans to use since the home does not have A/C (which we were aware of). The home is clean and comfortable. The beds are very firm, which I liked but my husband did not. Be aware if you are traveling in summer, that the bedrooms do not have blackout shades, and that there is a window in the primary bedroom which does not have any sort of blinds and looks out to the main living area and is right below the skylights. Privacy isn't compromised by the window, but it makes the room bright as day during the long summer days. The neighborhood is "ok." Driving to the home we were a little apprehensive because of the visible homeless population, but once we got there, we saw that most homes are nearby are decently maintained, and we felt safe.
