Perched within walking distance of Alyeska Resort Daylodge, you will be shredding fresh powder in no time! There are a few runs for beginners, but this mountain is geared more towards the experienced skier. Come summer, the mountain biking and hiking trails will keep everyone busy. Regardless of how you use your days, the local restaurants nearby will not disappoint! For a day trip, don't hesitate to head into Anchorage, just 30 miles northwest.

Featuring a lofted layout, a unique spiral staircase, and a vibrant interior, this home is fun and ready to assist in making the best memories. After a day of skiing nearby, hang up your coats and gear and curb your appetites with a home-cooked meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. Featuring modern appliances, wooden countertops, and an adorable dining area, you will have everything needed to make and enjoy any recipe. We liked our stay, but had some issues.
Cons: dirty pots and pans, no screens on the windows (letting in fresh air meant letting in bugs), dirty heater filter that caused beeping all night until I googled and solved the issue the next morning, tapping coming from the bathroom that goes all night (unless you leave the bathroom vent on), hot water runs out quickly, washer/dryer took an absurd amount of time to dry clothes (hours), can opener didn’t work, tv remotes (3 of them) don’t see to work properly. Pros: comfy beds, plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 small kids, plenty of towels/sheets/pillows, close to hiking, close to Girdwood and Aleyeska.

Great little cabin
First and foremost, Sapphire went above and beyond to hand deliver items I had left behind at the cabin. While I did not expect to get those items back, I was so pleasantly surprised to receive them. It is a true RARITY when someone goes so above and beyond to make someone feel so prioritized. As for the cabin, it was in an exceptional location and in excellent condition. The only thing I would have liked was to have had coffee in the unit. It's not usual to have a coffee maker but have no coffee provided. I even brought my own creamer! But we ended up getting coffee down the street-no big deal. We had such a wonderful experience at this place and we will most definitely be back. And THANK YOU so very much for being pet friendly!! :) Loved the little cabin by the resort! <3

Nice but needs work
The unit is in a great location and has a decent layout for a small space however there's some things that need to be fixed or finished before it can really shine. The kitchen counters are made of wood and weirdly they are unsealed so every water stain or whatever you put on the counter is captured by the grainy surface. The fridge is actively leaking and has left water damage on the bottom right corner of where it's stands on the floor. The carpets reak of dog smell and if you want some fresh air to get the dog smell out there's only two windows you can actually open but wait there's no screen in those windows so all the mosquitoes can make their way in. The last frustrating thing with this property is the coffee maker. No matter what you do it leaks profusely all over the unsealed wood counters, which is a great thing to compliment your cup of joe in the morning, a instant mess. What's funny is that the leaky coffee maker is mentioned in a previous comment about this property and im happy to report this problem is yet unresolved.

Great Stay
My friend and I rented this property for a wedding weekend in Girdwood and it was perfect! Close to everything in Girdwood, no issues checking in and the property was exactly as advertised. The space was well thought out, very clean and comfortable. Would highly suggest!

Cute house, could be excellent with improvements.
Great location. Quiet, reasonably close to Ted's Express and to town center. Clean and fashionable. A few functional items could be improved. The bathroom has a ridiculously large trough sink and basically zero counter space. The floating shelves are not secure (careful especially if you have kids), and are so narrow our things were falling off them onto the floor. There were very few hooks to hang wet clothes, and really nowhere to put shoes and boots. The few hooks that were there in the entry fell off the wall the second day just from taking a jacket down. Having a night table only on one side of the largest bed is very inconvenient for couples and the mattress is not terribly comfortable. These things could all be improved fairly easily and really need to be. If so it would be a 5-star rating for sure. Even with these flaws it was a great bargain and a good place to stay.

Great little spot with a few weird things
Overall this was a wonderful little spot, but there were 4 things that show a lack of attention to detail: When I arrived there was a wet towel folded on the floor of the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom, which did not work, had a persistent (and obnoxious) drip sound into it. There were only 3 forks and 2 butter knives in the house. This place is advertised for 4 people. Are you supposed to share forks? Knives? This was the biggest issue: the coffee carafe did not fit the coffee pot. The drip area of the pot was a different shape and mismatched to the top of the pot. This resulted in coffee brewing all over the counter. After I cleaned that up and figured out what caused it, I was able to mostly fix the pot to match the maker by removing its lid and offsetting it slightly under the drip area, but it still didn’t completely mesh and still spilled some coffee everywhere.

Great two week stay!
This cabin had everything I needed as my home-base for my two week Alaska stay! I commuted some days around the southern part of Alaska and Girdwood is a great central location and the cabin was great to come back to after commutes or long hiking days. Clean, well kept, and pretty updated.
