"What a delightful hotel. The rooms were modern, stylish, clean as a whistle and well equipped. The building is equally stylish and well maintained. "When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. "We had the most amazing holiday in this beautiful chateau. We were x4 families and the house was extremely comfortable with plenty of activities to keep the kids and adults entertained (table tennis, foosball, swimming pool, extensive grounds for football, walks etc). The swimming pool is beautiful and we were lucky with the weather and thankfully there is plenty of space indoors to retreat into when it is very hot outside! "Clean comfortable bed. Nice hot shower. Elevator to 3rd floor. Very accommodating staff. However coming back at night is a little disconcerting since everything is dark. People in another room screaming so difficult to sleep. Breakfast was perfect. Location was perfect. Carpet not so clean but otherwise room was very nice. "

Norman gîte with breathtaking views over the Vie valley

Lovely stay

"We had a lovely few days relaxing in the countryside. Great property, lovely open space for kids to play and gorgeous peaceful views across the valley. We did a day trip to Paris, taking the train from L’Aigle. Check in and out very easy and Nathalie an attentive and helpful host. Would recommend!"

Great Normandy Location

"The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. The apple juice left for us was very welcome and the use of the BBQ was excellent as we had such good weather. The gite is well equipped (apart from BBQ utensils) and very clean. We would highly recommend and the owners are at hand for any queries you may have. Thank you for making our stay so nice."
