"The service was amazing "

"The AC never got cold even on the lowest setting. On the main area there was a strong smell, like garbage and it was there for over a day even though they came to clean the room, no one bothered to empty the trash, the smell was so bad it came into our room. The hotel is in a good area, we felt safe but far from the touristy area and the walk to the train station was long, it was hard to get UBER there so we had to walk several times. "

"Beautiful new property! Stayed for 2 nights in mid September and had a wonderful time. The staff were very helpful providing dining options in a near by town and checked in via WhatsApp to ensure our stay was running smoothly. The property is very well decorated and all linen and towels are plush and luxurious. We added on the breakfast for both mornings and were very pleased. They provide you the option of freshly made eggs and bacon to accompany their vast selection of pastries, cheese, fruit...

"Although the resort looks lovely it was almost impossible to find. The dirt road in to the grounds is treacherous with the worst yet to come…it was abandon. We searched for employees for 80 minutes with no luck before driving away. It was quite the adventure…one that I’d prefer not to relive"

"We (my wife and I) don’t have enough words to express our excelente experience during our stay at Galicia Gesthouse. Everything was simply perfect, in general and its people, in particular. A non-luxurious place that honors what Leonardo da Vinci one day said “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” We highly recommend this place! "We had a wonderful week in this property, set in a beautiful garden with private outdoor eating area and pool in a shared area of the garden. Our host and his wife were very warm and welcoming. Lovely coastline with great walks in all directions. Easy to stay here without a car. Bar 5 mins away with daily fresh bread, supermarket 10 mins walk, and local trains up and down the coast to nearby towns."

"Overnight stay to attend the local festival. Excellent location for this. Clean and comfortable, didnt use the sites facilities so cannot comment on these. "

"Lovely clean property and owners went out of their way to welcome us and help make our holiday special. Great setting in view of the sea in an unspoilt part of Portugal. Only a short drive to the city delights of Porto (I recommend parking in Matosinhos and catching public transport or the hop-on buses) and Viana do Castelo worth a visit."
