Check in was a little on the slow side as the receptionist took a while to find our reservation but after that everything went very smoothly. Room was a little on the small side in my opinion for two people, and it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities albeit they were freely (and complimentary) available in the reception area all day. Having breakfast laid on was great, and even though the choice wasn't vast it was all very good quality. Location was perfect.

Room was disappointing given that it was supposed to be a suite and was relatively expensive. Booking confirmation indicated that it was a double with two singles but it was a double with a sofa bed - the sofa bed being very uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and location was excellent.

Needs a makeover
This hotel is in need of a refurbish. We hav stayed there before and we were in the more modern part serviced by a lift. This time we were in the older part of the hotel. Clearly this is not a hotel for older people as one night 1 we were given a room that had a bathroom so small that we had to turn sideways to get to the toilet. To try to get into the shower involved stepping over a high walled bath, no handles etc and frankly we found it dangerous. To give the hotel some credit, when we complained about this and asked for a room with a bathroom in which we could move they did change our room. So, the staff were co-operative on this front.Toilet problem solved but the shower was still an exercise that older people would find difficult - I am 74 my wife 68. There were no in room safes which would have been useful, no fridge etc so amenities were not the best. Nevertheless the bed was comfortable bandit is located close to the action in Amiens. I cannot say what the more modern rooms would have been like but all round I think the hotel needs a massive makeover.

The hotel is in a very old building so it has more character than the usual ibis hôtel. It’s very close to the the cathedral and the centre of Amiens and although there is no car parking at the hotel itself it’s not far to an underground carpark. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and the breakfast was excellent.

Central clean spacious friendly hotel in Amiens
We stayed 4 nights at the hotel. Two adults one teenager - the family room was spacious neat clean and quiet. The staff were welcoming and friendly. A lift to assist with getting luggage up to first floor room. Walking distance to everything. Police headquarters acrosss the road so felt extra safe. Generous fresh breakfast included. We were there for battlefield tours and the hotel suited our purposes totally. Thanks for having us. Not luxurious but good value for the cost

Disappointed with the room no coffee milk etc in room however there was a tray in receptipn with kettle tea and coffee to make a drink not always milk available. very small room not much room to move. WiFi works well. Even though the rooms are clean they do need a revamp. Breakfast buffet not the best

Great location and staff, but rooms average.
My wife and I stayed with our daughter in a family room. The room was a little tired and things like the TV remote were not working. The bathroom needed a refresh as there were broken floor tiles, a wobbly toilet and a leaking shower screen. These were all minor pedantic things though and did not detract from our stay. The price was likely more reflective of the excellent location rather than the quality of the accommodation. However, the staff were great and there were loads of nice touches like the free coffee and croissants. Breakfast was also really good compared to some of the other places we stayed at whilst driving through France.

Very happy with the room, service and general environment, but my second room was at the top of the hotel and was allocated to my daughter and her 5 month old son with no lift, so transporting a buggy up a spiral staircase was a serious and unexpected problem
