" We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. Close to anything you might need.However, there was no disclaimer at the time of our booking, that the living quarters and what not are all 2nd story, and require a lot of steps up and down. It was just fine for our family, but may be difficult for older folks. "

"We had a wonderful visit as a family. We had the best of both worlds, being secluded in a private wooded area but conveniently close to tourist attractions and restaurants. Our host was phenomenal and unexpected upgraded us to a newer property due to miscommunication on his end with cleaning the cabin we were originally supposed to stay in. Would absolutely stay in this area again! "

"Needed a place where I could unplug and enjoy nature with my dog and the cabin totally had that!!! The cabin was clean and had everything one needed for relaxing. Lots of deer in the apple orchard. Welcome basket with wine and other goodies was a really nice touch and the wood burning stove was already started for me! I will be back"

"Rhonda greeted us at the property and she was very kind and friendly. The place is rustic and beautiful! I loved the modern kitchen with all the dishes you need to cook or grill. They even had shampoo/body soap for showering and I love the touch of having makeup wash clothes. We enjoyed camp fires, the lake and the quaint town of Fremont. The place was SO peaceful ! "
