Resthaven Retreat is a beautiful newly built holiday house nestled in native bush and gardens.Its ideal location is close to the beach,restaurants,post office,The Oyster shop,general store and walking trails.Its layout is ideal for families or couples/friend travelling together to explore Kangaroo Island.It is situated in a very private location giving you freedom to enjoy the surroundings but yet only 5 min.to many local interests.It has a large dinning and entertaining area set up well with a modern kitchen and pool table offering great views.

Nice place but
Location is great and place is nicely set up open plan layout with pool table which the kids loved. The only issue we had was the general cleanliness of the place it could really use a good clean. Rugs and floor mats also need replacing. These things bring down the experience of an otherwise nice property.

Excellent holiday getaway
A great holiday home that had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Lots of interesting places to explore within walking distance as well as a good base to explore the rest of the island. The house was large, clean and comfortable and our sons (9yo & 11yo) loved the pool table.

With a little TLC it would have been better
House spacious, but only one aircon to heat the entire house left us a bit too cool. Also the towels were mostly threadbare and the appliances, cutlery and bbq left a bit to be desired. Mostly just old and tired. If owner spent a bit of money modernising and increasing attention to detail it would have been far nicer. The pool table was great for the kids, but the "no shoes" inside the house was a.bit tedious and frustrating. This is a nice enough house, but we felt it lacked finesse.
