"Lovely hotel in the old town area. My room was really spacious and was spotlessly clean and the price included a good buffet breakfast. Everywhere I wanted to see was within walking distance and if I was in the area again I would stay here again"

"Absolutely terrible - I am staying in this hotel since many years, but have never been so disappointed than this time. There is NO Internet available in your room (I was here 3 month ago and had the same problem- the excuse is the renovation of the hotel) - 4 days I was told: MAYBE TOMORROW- only lies! The safe was broken, only ONE little towel in the bathroom - the television only worked in some few channels (no main channels) - the balcony door didn’t close. When I complained and asked for a discount I was told to contact Expedia, because they don’t get paid after my Stay. This was the most frustrating stay and I will never recommend this Steigenberger Hotel in Bad Pyrmont to anybody. I am staying most of the time in different Steigenberger Hotels during my business travels and was always happy and content- but these 2 last trips in Bad Pyrmont were miserable!"

"X1 night at Hameln, hotel good location for getting into beautiful old town, not so good food at Ambrosia. Missed the Pied piper museum as arrived to late and not open to couples on Mondays but enjoyed the stay"

"The staff are lovely and the location is great The rooms are dated and need refurbishment. The bed was uncomfortable and the king size bed was covered with two small sheets rather than one big one. The sink had a big crack in it. I wouldn’t have sold that room with that sink. There’s a lot of noise from restaurant patrons leaving and the people in the rooms above made a lot of noise at 2am. The restaurant is amazing and made up for the room. However, breakfast on the weekend is from 8am which is not acceptable in this day and age. We had to leave without eating. "

"This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited. The decor when you get into the hotel is like stepping back into the 1980s or early 90s where you imagine men wearing jackets with the sleeves rolled up it was quite an eye-opener, hence saying , that this hotel has so much potential. I can’t complain about the cleanliness and the room had suitable shower and a comfortable bed and luckily a couple of English television channels but no tea or coffee making Facilities in the room which was very disappointing."

"Everything was clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and while it is not a particularly kid focused hotel, the kids (6 and 8) were always welcome and accomodated. Breakfast was perfect and the two dinners we had in the reataurant were excellent. It was our first stay but we are already planning to come back. The only downfall was the small bathroom sink. "
