"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. The house is set on a sloped garden with beautiful views to all sides off tree lined pastures. A couple of friendly cows add to the picture and do not disturb the tranquility of the place. The house is immense with four closed bedrooms and a multitude of other sleeping areas, three sitting rooms, two kitchens, two laundry rooms and three bathrooms. "I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

"Beautiful property and location. House, pool, lake, bikes, boat all made for a perfect holiday. Communication with owners was very good and the pool was kept clean by Claude who visited often to check everything was OK. Wish we could have stayed for longer, would definitely return again with more of the family."

"The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

"A big thanks to Gary for being so helpful . The location of the house is perfect so peaceful. The interior stylish and well equipped. During the week we stayed it was extremely hot so having the good sized pool situated so close by was ideal . It was our first time to the area and we all loved the region. I highly recommend the house, in fact it’s the best I have stayed in in France . We all had a wonderful and memorable holiday and I hope to return sometime soon."

"Cette charmante maison de ville est très fonctionnelle. Les photos déposées sur le site correspondent bien à la réalité. Les commerces sont à proximité, nous y sommes allés à pied. Par ailleurs, Bugeat offre de nombreuses possibilités de balades ou randonnées et se trouve bien situé pour découvrir le plateau de Millevaches dans son ensemble. Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour."
