"This was the best hotel we stayed at in our month long trip in Madagascar. We were either jet lagged, or about to travel whenever we were in Tana and this hotel was comfortable and easy. It is at the top of the hill with a nice view and a rooftop bar. There are a few bars and restaurants in walking distance as well. Their prices are a bit high, so we walked next door for breakfast and went out for dinner. But wow, to have a nice shower and wifi is incredible."

"Beautifully clean and comfortable, but the eco-claims are not lived up to, with regard to replacing towels and the heavy covers on the beds which require one to put the air conditioning on. These things don't make sense in a country with water and electricity shortages. Very expensive food! The pre-authorization on my sister's bill was mistakenly run through the system so that she was overcharged, and the only way to solve the problem seemed to be to send the extra as a credit to the other...

"The area it’s really bad, if you are going with your family I do not recommend it. The area it is full of people living in the street and beggars. The Hotel has a nice restaurant and good rooms but there is not hot water and they have to check always your fridge to find out if you have taken anything. Be careful of the taxi fares as they will try and charge you double. "

The AIr Conditioning wasn’t working in my room and the TV had just one French channel & nothing in English. "This was my second stay as I liked the first. I must take it account the very low price. This was great given the low amount I paid. The room was spacious and has a balcony. Breakfast was included It is close to Cotisse bus station. They were very accommodating and easy to communicate with prior. They bought bus tickets for me and all the staff I met were friendly. Their English wasn’t great. It is a shared bathroom. "
