Discover the western beauties of Lake Windermere and astonishing views across the valley, untouched and serene. This quaint first floor apartment is a stunning little gem hidden away in the heart of Far Sawrey, just a short drive away from the buzzing village of Hawkshead and the ferry to Bowness. You can also make use of the large lawned area complete with seating overlooking the stunning lake and countryside surroundings, so whether you’re a couple looking for a romantic break or a small family looking for the perfect escape to the serenity of the lakes, this apartment is the perfect choice for a memorable holiday in the hidden gem that is our Esthwaite Howe Farmyard. All of our Esthwaite Howe apartments are fitted with a kitchen with an oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, as well as basic cooking utensils and cutlery, etc. Each bathroom also has a heated towel rail and clothes airer. The communal laundry facilities with both washer and dryer are found to the right-hand side of the courtyard as you enter, which guests are welcome to use at their leisure. Thirlmere hols
Third year now we've spent most of the week in the Lake District and used apartments/cottage with Graithwaite Estates. Location is perfect for us,cottages/apartments always clean and well equipped. It's only a couple of hours from where we live so very easy to get to.

Comfortable apartment in a peaceful location
Had a relaxing 2 night stay with my teenage and 6 year old grandchildren. Thirlmere was very comfortable, the main areas of use clean and the kitchen well equipped. Lovely views from each window across to Esthwaite. The apartment is due for a springclean / repaint as some areas looking shabby, dusty however this didnt spoil our holiday. The ad states "fuel and power included", however there were no logs or matches for the stove as mentioned in previous reviews so I went prepared with my own supply. Tv took a while for a self confessed technophobe to get working but after googling "how to use a firestick" and videocalling son in law, I managed to get a good choice of programmes. The aerial is for sky and doesnt fit that tv. Maybe include some instructions for this in the info file and remove the sky instructions. We would stay here again if in the area.
