The staff at the property were terrible and pretty unreasonable. We checked out and were going to have lunch at the hotel restaurant and they wanted us to move our car. The receptionists were rude and the breakfast wasn`t good.
The best location to stay in Amarsa. The only rooms worth getting are their Sea View suites on the third floor. The other rooms are very standard. We have stayed here twice and will probably stay again. The service was an improvement (there was a bell boy who spoke some English)
Fantastic views of the bay. Rooms a very small but the views are breathtaking. Convenient for walking to the rest of the city. No safe in the room. They have a serious mosquito problem(probably due to the public restrooms close by.
Nice view of the town and the sea from our room. Breakfast could be better but it wasn’t bad. The staff are friendly and helpful eventhough we don’t speak Turkish. The location is superb as it’s 2-mins walk to the museum and 5-mins walk to the town.
Nice clean hotel, lovely breakfast. Friendly staff- don’t speak much English but were happy to help using Google Translate. The music from the restaurant was very loud on the Saturday night but finished at 11.30 so really wasn’t a problem. Ideally located in Amasra for walking anywhere. Beautiful views from our balcony too.
We have been to this hotel before. The location is excellent, right by the beach and 2 min walk to the restaurant. The deluxe room is a must as it has the best view.
We booked the deluxe room which is definitely worth the extra money, the view from the room is wonderful overlooking the bay across. It is right on the promenade and a small beach in front. In the evening the music goes on but not till very late around 10pm which didn’t disturb our sleep.
Good hotel and better location close to one beach and the bus station. A little expensive. The breakfast is from 8 AM and they arranged it for us at 7:30, because we had to take the bus at 8.
When I first went into the room I thought, “oh wow, this place is old.” And yes, the room is older but I eventually really liked it. We got one with the sea view, which I recommend (although everyone can enjoy the beautiful view from the dining room - just go up there during the day and take some photos.) Our sea view room was large with a separate seating area. The bathroom was really old and had mold in it but we only stayed 1 night so we really didn’t care that much. The thing that impressed me the most about this hotel was the staff. I interacted with four different hotel staff and they were all helpful and welcoming with a smile. Finally, I thought this place was an excellent value.
the location is very uniq especially when you accommadate in seaview room.
personel is generaly very rude.
Although hotel is very old and famous premises in the region , they will not able to survive with this staff and general conditions.
The staff at the hotel were very nice as was the hotel itself. Everything was clean and there was a nice view of the small harbor. It is in a great location with easy walking access to the rest of the city. Breakfast was good.
Nice hotel...good location...nice view.
Staff should be less concerned with their personal phone caals and be more attentive to customer.
Breakfast was good...it would be super if turkish kahve was available.
Loud music...should have quite hours.
Thin walls between rooms.
