"A truly relaxing property. Huge, beautiful gardens provided the most serene setting for sitting out under the olive trees. A large pool where you could really get your laps in and lemon and lime trees with an abundance of fruit to pick. The house was very traditional. Lots of space and a very quirky ground floor. "Aurelie was fantastic to deal with and really helpful with any queries and booking taxis for us etc. the house was absolutely stunning and the grounds were amazing with so many lemon, lime, fig, olive trees etc. So quiet - we were in our own Oasis! "We had a splendid stay. The house was just as described. All amenities described were provided. The owner, Filipe, is very responsive and helpful with any questions. We had no issues. We enjoyed the peacefulness yet close to town. As for the driveway from precious comments, yes it is steep, but we had no issues at all! We followed Felipe’s advice and we were fine."

The pool itself is a depth of 1.5meters all over so great for kids. Inside space is great with large pool table in the cinema room downstairs which kids loved. This rural, private location suited us very well as we had our own transport, being within easy reach of Porto, Douro Valley, beaches and Braga. So much more besides we didn’t explore. Antonio, the host, was very helpful and wanted us to enjoy stay."
