"Really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful little town. The property was charming and well equipped. I would suggest reviewing the bed itself, it was hard as a rock and we had back pain. Also consider adding two more pillows. Would be nice to have some basic body wash in the shower. Did provide hand soap. Other than that, well equipped kitchen, comfortable, excellent lighting and communication with us was excellent and timely. It was all in Portuguese so don’t know about English being spoken....

"Amarante is a very nice town and the area has lots on the doorstep, riverside walks, river, greenway, bike hire available in town and lots of day trips to adjacent areas. Accomodation good and lovely pool"

"Our stay went very well. The place is well laid out and the valley is magnificent. The view from Casa da Flor is breathtaking. A car park at the entrance is available to park cars (we were a little dizzy going down, but Helena is a good guide) Helena is an attentive, available and very pleasant host. The outdoor facilities are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the place: swimming pool and hammock by the river. A dream moment of disconnection!"
