"HR residence is at a very convenient location, close to the duomo and easy access to the Luna Russo parking garage (€40/day). It’s also next to the ferry and bus stations, and close to the beach. Our room had partial sea view through the balcony. It was nothing to write home about unless you have never seen the ocean. But the Mountain View and the villas in Ravello are astonishing. It’s also an easy 30 min drive. From Positano. We visited in late October so everything is quieter and enjoyable....

"The location is great. The stairs are brutal with a suitcase, but I knew about that going in so I can't knock the place. The views for breakfast were great. Check-in was a mess, the host said someone would meet us at the dock, but no one showed. The host does not belong in customer service. I asked if we could have breakfast at 7 so we could have an early start and she told us we would have to make our own breakfast. She insisted breakfast should be at 8:30. "Even though the beach was 426 steps down, it was close enough to visit every day. The breakfast was great. We accidently took a towel down to the beach and were reprimanded. Overall, a nice place to stay. We would stay right on the ocean next time."
