"We visited Halstatt over the Christmas holiday and fell in love with this gem of a town. While it is a bit overrun with tourists at this time of year, Halstatt Hideaway is set above the hustle and bustle and always offered a quiet escape. "It’s a nice cabin with 3 bedrooms (2 double bedrooms and one bedroom with bunk beds sufficient for five children/teenagers) surrounded by other similar cabins with wonderful views. There is a beautiful terrace facing the mountains. Ideal for hiking in summer. Even though the area may seem a bit crowded (quite a few cabins located on the slope), it is well designed and tenants do not disturb each other. The communal pool for residents is certainly a plus.
