"We loved staying at Millfield Cottage, the house is well equipped and spacious. The location is fabulous, we were there in October, so the weather was stormy, being warm and cosy in the house while watching the waves break on the rocks and hearing the wind on the sea was just great. Lee bay is a fantastic rocky bay with caves and many hidden beaches, worth exploring. The garden is also lovely. The narrow Devon lanes can be a bit daunting but taken carefully you soon learn how to navigate them....

"We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property...

"Plenty of space for 4 adults. The outside verandah was well used as it was so peaceful and quiet to sit out on. Three toilets to the property was a great advantage. The property is not overlooked. The journey to the property is along narrow lanes but with plenty of routes to choose from."

"We really loved the garden and the birds including a magnificent nuthatch, which visited regularly. It was wonderful to be in nature, we enjoyed the walks, the nature reserve and wild swimming. While the kitchen and living room were great, we do have some feedback on the state of the bedding, bathrooms and downstairs bedrooms. The pillows and duvets were smelly and stained. Second time to this magical little town..and will be coming again for sure. "We stayed for a weekend in Pebbles Court and were very impressed with the house. It was clean, warm and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and we loved the house. It was so well-equipped and we wish our stay had been longer! We also really appreciated the cream tea and milk, very welcome after a long journey from Surrey on a Friday evening. "
