From DoubleTree's classic, warm cookies to the spaciousness of the room, we felt at home and comfortable. The Hydro also oozes Victorian charm and boasts stunning views of the surrounding area. What's not to love? It's actually a shame we didn't stay longer. We're keen to return, especially to try The Kailyard by Nick Nairn. My only issue is that the room door allowed a lot of noise through which was a slight disturbance."

"Perfect, affordable, pleasant and modern hotel. Free parking, room service, and there were sockets in walls available to charge our phones!! Real bonus. It was great to be able to use lift instead of climbing the stairs with heavy suitcases!! Hotel is conveniently positioned between Edinburgh and historic Dunfermline and close to the airport. Restaurant menu was not very exciting but the atmosphere was very pleasant "
