"Highly recommended!! The location is great, my room was spacious and well equipped, the food is plentiful and delicious and all the staff are happy, friendly and totally adorable!! If you're staying over Christmas/New Year, the extra effort with decorations and evening schedules is really lovely - the best I've experienced. Thank you very much Lanka Princess, I had a brilliant stay. Without hesitation, I would stay here again :-) xxx"

"This property is designed to take care of your every need. You have a personal butler who you work with for everything—dining, outside excursions, a drink by the pool—and they do an excellent job. Our butler was Menuka and he was wonderful, helpful, and kind. We stayed on the property for the most part and chose to do all of our meals there because we liked the food and the convenience. It is a very small property and quiet so if you are really interested in disconnecting, this is a good choice....

"We stayed here on our honeymoon, and was expecting a little more hospitality to be honest couldn't even get a free drink out of them 😅. They do hound you a little in the mornings for room service so don't expect a lay in at this place! "The resort is the labor of love of Chamal the owner. 9 private and beautifully done villas set in the middle of nature. We had lunch and dinner everyday in the restaurant by the river. Loved the property, service was warm and friendly and seafood was superb. Great find!"

"We stayed a whole week in the apartment and could not have had a better time there! Bernard picked us up from the train station and welcomed us with fresh coconuts. "The Taj Bentota is a very big hotel right in the beach. The pool area is spectacular with plenty of space and sunbeds. The breakfast is excellent with something for everyone. We didn’t have supper in any of the restaurants but did have some very good pool bar snacks and drinks. There are lots of excellent seafood restaurants just outside the hotel entrance gates, across the railway track. Overall I would definitely recommend the Taj Bentota and ALL the staff but especially the Duty Manager Mahinda."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The welcome was amazing!!! The rooms were beautiful. The pool was amazing! It’s right on the beach! The food was exxxxxcellent!!! We will stay here again. One of our favorite hotels in all of Sri Lanka! Madhushan helped us with our bags and was very helpful! Krishmal cleaned our room and it was SPOTLESS!! So clean and beautiful! We really appreciated each of the staff who served us. We will be back! Excellent job! "
