"I have to say this was probably my most favorite stay at a VRBO property. This cabin is adorable and it’s clear how well loved and cared for it is by the owners! The only thing to note is that the stairs are rather steep but that’s because it is a three story A-frame cabin so it comes with the territory (but may be an issue for anyone with mobility issues though our 86yo granny did just fine). "Our family of 9 (5 adults, 4 grandkids) had the pleasure of staying at the historic Demmler house in Eau Claire for our annual holiday getaway. We all loved the home's character definitely recommend a stay here to anyone. The beds were all comfortable, the whole house was well-appointed, and the host was welcoming and gracious. "Visited this beautiful area to look at the leaves as they change and disconnect from the normal busy life. Beautiful property on the lake, clean and comfortable. Blake is excellent as a host. Very responsive and easy to communicate with. With we had more time to spend on the lake!"

"It was very nice and clean. Two issues. The shower curtain smelled like an old wet towel which made the rest of the unit smell. The seams between the bedroom carpet and the kitchen floor aren’t laid down properly. Our 2 years olds foot as well as our was poked by staples or something that points up. It would be good for the owner to check on the installation. "
