We enjoyed walking out across the road to stroll down by the river. It is very peaceful here. Locally are pretty towns and great history and landscapes. I especially liked Weissenberg. A thoroughly wonderful place to unwind."

"Ich war mit meinem Sohn ein paar Tage im Altmühltal und wir hatten eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Viel Liebe zum Detail und Herzblut waren sofort fühlbar. Die Gastgeber sind super sympathisch. Gern kommen wir wieder. Nadine"

"We were staying here for the Challenge Roth triathlon. The location was ideal, only a short drive to the various venues. The small village was immaculately clean and well kept and extremely quiet. It was a very peaceful stay. The swimming pool and backyard lounging area was very nice. Access to this apartment was very easy from Munich airport. All the roads and highways around the area are very easy to drive and navigate."

"Very comfortable stay for 4 people with 3 bedrooms. Thoroughly recommend this property for a stay in the Althmutal area"

"The place itself is quite nice but not really for more than two people unless it’s a child. Also the location is very remote! Bike rental is quite far away (about 12 km). If the other flat is rented by other people and you want to have a bbq you need to ask if it’s possible for you to do so because it’s a shared garden. there are animals in the garden which is not for everybody to have their meal with chickens and dog and goose walking around your feet! It was a bit expensive for what it is."

"We booked this property for an extended family holiday with 4 adults and 2 children. The apartment was spotless, beautifully appointed and in a lovely little village in a central location to many of the local attractions including Nördlingen, Dinkensbühl and Altmuhlsee. The village itself is picturesque with several excellent gastehaus restaurants (we are at the Löwen several times - absolutely delightful!!) The villa had many wonderful features including balcony with views of Hesselberg...
