No way this hotel has an 8 rating. The hot water faucet at sink did not work. The toilet flushed occasionally. The room was too small for the bed size; you had to turn sideways to walk in front of it. Poor shower design left the floor soaking wet after every use. No tissues; small issue, I know, but I can’t recall the last time I stayed at even the cheapest hotel and there were no tissues. I was attending a conference and am thankful that my wife was not with me; she would not have put up with this. First night the fire alarm went off at 4am; someone smoking in their room, I believe. Second night an hour long heated discussion in the lobby; not sure why the front desk couldn’t get them to use their ‘indoor’ voice or step out on the porch to resolve.

Beautiful spacious rooms, nice size pool for downtown stay. Valeting and uber pick up was a bit chaotic but the valet staff was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!
