"Great location for bus and trains. Staff are excellent and we received a friendly response from Lisa when we checked in. She was informative and helpful. Evening meal was delicious and presented very well. We stayed 6 days and breakfast buffet was delicious and plenty of choices. Only comment was there is no decaf coffee. "Lovely hotel, old feel. Dinner of soup salad and bread included, as well as breakfast. Walking distance to train and beautiful Kalmar Castle. Food was great, room lovely. Staff made all the difference—lovely and welcoming. This hotel is a gem!"

"Excellent value for money. The key benefits about the hotel is its location and the free breakfast which is very good. That said, the rooms are VERY small. The lighting in the room is inadequate, there is no closet or shelves for clothes and just 4 electrical outlets in the room very inconveniently places. "This property suited our needs for an overnight stay. Parking was easy and convenient. They offered a breakfast buffet in the morning that was nice. The room was clean, as was the property. We never interacted with anyone, so if we had any questions, it might have been difficult. The area around the hotel seemed commercial, but we were just there for an overnight stay for nearby visit. "

"If you are with a family it's not the place to stay. The room is small with the tiniest toilet I have ever been in. I am not large built I found it extemely hard to sit on the wc. The reception closes at 9pm so if you are late and your cell phone is not working, you cannot enter into the building. Think twice a and Plan well if you want to book this place. "

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt mit Kleinkind hier sehr genossen. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und ist toll gelegen. Im Inneren ist es geräumig und der Garten bietet viel Platz für Spiel und Erholung. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und der Waldrand mit Heidelbeeren zum Greifen nahe. Das Glasreich besticht durch tiefe Wälder, unzählige Traumseen, Weite und Stille. Wir kommen wieder!"

Nice, budget & dog friendly

"Nice small and cheap. Perfect for a night if you are on your way to/from Kostaboda or taking the ferry from Oskarshamn. Breakfast was added for 50 SEK, simply but nice. Not if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences though. However there was access to a kitchen with fridge so extra budget friendly if you are bringing your own food. And dog friendly! Quite a small town so if you arriving in the evening don't expect anything within walking distance to be open. We found a pizzeria a 10min drive away though ."
