"Comfortable room with a well-equipped kitchen for communal use. There is no elevator in this lodging, and all rooms require at least a short climb up steps. Located in a beautiful old neighborhood with a bakery close by. Within an easy walk of the old city. We did not drive so can't comment on parking. "We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'Hotes L'Ancienne Ecole. It is a beautiful period property in the lovely town of La Wantzenau. Katia is an amazing host, with passionate knowledge of the Alsace area. Nothing was too much trouble, with a tasty French breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."

"Lovely property and Sylvie is a wonderful host. Our suite was beautifully decorated (and the AC was cool!). Sylvie provides a delicious breakfast with homemade jams and local yougurt, as well as a small selection of breads, fruit, meatt, and cheese.
