"Nice property. Close to golf courses. Surrounding area a bit dead in the evening although it is late in the season. Apple TV didn’t work, but luckily I brought my one over! One set of towels looked well worn. Overall it was ok for golfers!"

"The villa had all the facilities we required. Lovely pool, comfy beds and plenty of space for everyone. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The villa is well situated and you can walk to beaches and restuarants but a car is ideally needed for shopping and to explore the area. The only thing to mention is the villa would benefit from a few more sunbeds or softer seating in the pool area as the current ones are short in number and getting a little tired. But it was a wonderful holiday...

"Lovely, comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped house. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area, with good walking in the nearby national park, and sea swimming and water sports nearby, Good waves at Punta Umbria 10 minutes away. El Portil itself was very friendly and the local food was fresh, delicious and inexpensive. Great place to learn and practice Spanish too. We also spent quite a bit of time just relaxing in the house and garden, and using the pool. Jose was really...
