"Eine wirklich sehr nette Vermieterin und ebensolche Nachbarn. Das Bett und das Bad sind etwas klein, aber man kommt zurecht. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Heraklion sind fußläufig zu erreichen und selbst Knossos ist nur etwa 8-10 km entfernt. Weiter Ziele z. B. im Süden, Westen, Südwesten sind nur mit Mietwagen zu erreichen bzw. man holt vorher Erkundigungen ein zum ausgebauten Bus-Linienverkehr. Einziger wirklicher Minuspunkt ist die relativ hohe Lautstärke der in der Umgebung des Apartments. Wer...

"Maria cares deeply about your visit and responds to any need. The house is wonderful with a lovely fruit and vegetable garden in the backyard. It is a very short 3 minute walk to the center of the beach and our favorite taverna, Mythos. There was a reserved parking place for our rental car at all times. The outdoor shower was fantastic. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!"

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"We wanted to experience Crete's culture. You really cannot do that when you stay in a hotel with 500 or your favorite friends!! This Villa is located about 30 minutes from Rethymno. Nestled in the foothills surrounded by olive orchards at about 1100 feet above sea level. We were there for 18 days. We discovered a Taverna (Mina's) in Garazo about 15 minutes away. The owners MADE our stay! Genuine Cretan food and hospitality."

"I felt at home immediately, and it`s seems bigger than on the pictures, very comfy bed and two bathrooms/shower with toilet. Kitchen was fully equiped. I found lots of goodies - herbs, tea, coffee shampoo,bodylotion etc.. But bring your own repellent the outdoor pool attractive for mosquitos. Very nice sitting area outside to relax and enjoy the pool. Vivi offered a shuttle servis from the parkinglot to the house, a steep 100 m walk. She drove my luggage with her Mini up to the house.
