Villa Las Dalias Almunecar and Nerja

Villa Las Dalias is a typical Andalusian Finca style villa, next to Almunecar and close to Nerja. It is the perfect holiday home for a big family, a few families with children or up to 7 couples. The excellent facilities Las Dalias has to offer will make you come home a closer family or group of friends.
The villa faces south-west, has a surface of 334 m² inside with a unique sea view from living room, dining room and in no less than 5 of the bedrooms. Waking up, the very first thing you see is the deep blue Mediterranean Sea.
From wherever you are in the villa, the views are breathtaking and unimpeded on the beach, the Marina del Este in La Herradura, exclusive Punta de la Mona and the Mediterranean Sea.
Surface of the garden is 1500 m². It is well taken care of and it has a lovely private ( heated ) swimming pool. The villa also has a carport .
You will enter the top floor with fully equiped kitchen, large living room , beautiful second living room next the typically Andalusian windows and arches. Further up the 20 m long corridor there are 4 bedrooms, all with airconditioning, 2 bath rooms and an extra shower in the linnen room. We have named the bedrooms Mariposa, Alhambra, Toro, Flamenco (upstairs), Mar en Paraiso Azul downstairs. They are beautifully decorated according to their name.
Downstairs next to the heated pool is bar with american refrigerator serving the lounge set poolside. There are two bathrooms for the three rooms at pool level : Alpujarras, Mar an Paraiso Azul (family room with double bed and bunk bed), all three with a lovely sea view. All have immediate access to the pool area.
Outside you can relax on the spacious terraces on both levels. The terrace on the entrance level has a lovely outside kitchen with barbecue.
The very lively, typicall Spanish town of Almunecar with its wide promenades and numerous restaurants and shops, as well as beautiful, wide beaches is just walking distance away.
Villa Las Dalias is ideally located to visit all the beautiful places Andalucia has to offer : beautiful Nerja with The Balcony of Europe is just 12 miles away, Malaga , Granada and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada only 50 miles or a one hour drive. The possibilities for all kind of sports (and or off the water) are enormous.

Lovely spacious, well equipped villa, with magnificent views
Pros: Our extended family of 14 spent most of our time in and around the pool, with the large American fridge freezer close to hand for refreshments. Being early season, end of May, we found the pool temperature a bit low for the children but in consultation with the pool man, were able to increase it to our liking, albeit at a little extra cost. We mostly self catered in the villa and there were two outside areas for eating meals. It was exceptionally well equipped with plenty of utensils, glasses etc. and I loved the gas paella pan and gas Bbq. The owner added a personal touch, communicating by email. Cons: Although not far to the nearest beach and town it is down a very steep hill that only the fittest could walk.

Incredible views and wonderfully comfortable house!
Pros: The view and all the outdoor sitting spots- there were two outside grill areas! One by the pool downstairs and one on the upper level beside the kitchen. Brilliant facilities :-). And the garden was beautifully kept. Cons: The walk back up the hill raised the heart rate however it was so worth it to have views from every room!

Pros: The villa is situated on a headland with beautiful views over the bay. It was well equipped for our large party. The swimming pool was superb, garden pleasant and barbeque area ideal. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and have private time if we wanted it. If you are considering renting this villa it's worth knowing that it is at the top of an extremely steep hill and would be difficult for anyone with mobility or health problems without the need for a car or taxi. Taxis cost around 8euros and can be ordered from cafes and bars or direct from a local company. We had a problem with ants not only where there was food but around the villa however we've been assured that this is an unusually bad year. Having spent 2 weeks there we all had a thoroughly good time.

The views from whereever you are in or out of the house are no less than spectacular. We will never forget the long nights with our friends in het lounge set by the pool. Highly recommended !! And what a discovery Almunecar and the Costa Tropical was ! We rented some scooters and drove into the mountains. Magnificent !

Pros: Fantastiskt lugnt och insynsskyddat läge med utsikt över havet. Nära till Almunecar centrum och stränder. Huset är rikligt utrustat med husgeråd och nödvändiga faciliteter. Hög standard överlag. Härlig utegrillplats och poolområde. Fungerade perfekt för vårat sällskap om 4 barn och 7 vuxna. Bil är dock ett måste vid inköp av livsmedel eller dylikt, då det är mycket branta backar ner till centrum. Smidigt att ta sig från Malaga flygplats med hyrbil eller transfer. Hit återvänder vi nästa år igen.

Pros: Beste Frank We kwamen met 8 personen, de villa is groot en schoon, alles is erop en eraan. Zwembad is 2 x in de week schoon gemaakt. Er zijn veel kleine mieren maar dat is goed te onderhouden. We maken iedere dag schoon en weg te sproeien. Keuken is ruim met keukengerij, we hebben veel gekookt en de gigantische gourmetset hebben we ook gebtruikt. Ondanks de koffers zijn 4 dagen later pas aangekomen, hebben we de laatste 2 dagen veel gezwomen en genoten. Het is aan te raden om de villa Las Dalias te nemen als vakantie bestemming. Hopelijk binnen kort nog een keer te kunnen boeken. Frank en Hildegard stonden altijd klaar bij vragen stellen. Geweldig en bedankt voor alles 😁😁😁

Pros: This is a perfect Holiday home for groups up to 16 people (and even more). The views are fantastic, the garden, pool and house are huge. Almunecar and La Herradura were new to us and we liked it a lot. The house and location have all you need for a good Holiday at a very reasonable price. We had 1 day of rain but could enjoy ourselves easely and comfortable inside the house. The information we received was correct, the owner very friendly. We already booked again :-)

Villa Las Delias offers you everything you need for your holiday (There is no kitchen device on this world that you can not find at Villa Delias.) Beside of this everything was very clean and in a good condition. The only thing that wasn’t very perfect for me and one friend of mine have been the mattress. Just to soft for our weights. But that’s nothing I can accuse the land lords for. In addition the booking, the contact to the landlords and to Hildegard the hostess was friendly and couldn’t have been better. To sum it up: It was a perfect stay and we are thinking to come back again next year. Thx for everything!

Pros: I was there with friends for the first time. The house was recommended by acquaintances who had also a very good experience there. The house is perfect: big rooms, good bathrooms, nice kitchen and everywhere cozy corners if you want a rest break. The vieuw is one tof the most fantastic I've ever seen. For me as a fervent cyclist, the neighboorhood is also perfect. Good roads and a lot of possibilities. I'll come back!

De communicatie met Frank vooraf en met Hildegard de gastvrouw ter plaatste hebben wij als erg prettig ervaren. Het uitzicht vanaf de tuin van de villa was prachtig. Wij hebben een top vakantie gehad en raden de villa aan iedereen aan.
