"Had a really lovely stay at the Arrayanes Plays Hotel. The room was great with a really comfortable bed. The balcony provided a beautiful view across the bay with amazing sunrises. The pool was a good size with great views too. The staff were very friendly & helpful throughout my stsy"

"Really good value for money room was good size with a nice balcony looking over gardens to the sea. Very clean, nice linen ,good walk in shower , fridge and safe. Breakfast was included, and was better than expected, buffet style with good selection of hot and cold choices , plenty to eat. Pool was closed as we were there in October although it was pretty hot and we saw no sign of the bar/snack bar but there was plenty in the town so no matter. Well located 10 mins from the old town and 10 to 15 mins to the beach All in all a good value choice for a couple of nights "

"Beautiful hotel with amazing service!! From the time of booking right up to our departure the service was outstanding! The room was quiet and cozy, as per the photos but far better in person! The breakfast was fresh and homemade and was absolutely delicious. I wish I had more time to stay and enjoy this hotel! One thing to note is that although it’s just a quick walk to the beach and restaurants, you do need to cross a busy road to access that route. No biggie, but something to be aware of if you’re on foot. I absolutely recommend this clean and beautifully decorated hotel!!! "

"The property was simply and nicely furnished with quality and well appointed kitchen and offering comfort. The terrace presented a fabulous view of the ocean and the neighbourhood. The community still maintained a Spanish feel. Access to the pool was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"Small room without kettle, too many people in the pool area. No nearest shops no restaurant to by food, just hotdog, hamburger and pizza poor quality. Problem with parking when we arrived."

"We have just come back from an amazing two week holiday at this beautiful villa. On arrival the owner and his son met us with the keys, gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked and left us with a food starter kit which was a lovely added touch. Everything you need for a great holiday is available with lots of extras including a coffee machine, hot tub, pool table and ping pong table. The infinity pool is fabulous (just take care if you have young children as there is quite a drop). The views from the villa are stunning and the local beach is accessible by foot but is quite a walk uphill on the way back but there is plenty of free parking if you have a car. Shops and supermarkets are a ten minute drive away and we would recommend having a car as taxis are difficult to book and we all got stranded one evening in Almuñécar for over an hour to get home after dinner. Any queries we had with the owner were immediately replied to on WhatsApp and the maintenance man who came out didn’t speak any English but was not a problem as we communicated using Google translate and he was very helpful and friendly. We were a family of eight adults and we had the best time, would highly recommend this villa and we’ve already rebooked for 2025."
