Welcome to Baloo’s Cabin, 5 miles from I-40/I-49 Intersection. Our new addition to River Chase Group that includes Cozy Get-Away Cottage (adjacent), Whitetail Haven (Chalet), Great Escapes Villa, all minutes from Fort Smith, Devils Den and 1 hour from Fayetteville and Mt. Magazine. No more Bare necessities for ole Baloo with 58/44” smart TVs, King Log bed, Queen Murphy bed. JUST THE RIGHT SIZE and you will LOVE!!how it’s decorated . SPECTACULAR VIEWS on propertry!!! Although this is a newly added property our other properties have been on Airbnb for 3 years and have stellar reviews. Sorry but No Smoking inside the unit.We are adjacent to 2 golf courses with one being Eagle Crest which is on the Natural State Golf Trails. Alma is home to A to Z which has several stores in one area from Gifts and more, furniture, sporting goods, fashions and tools. The Arkansas Missouri Excursion Train is just 10 minutes away. Our area has many hiking trails along with waterfalls and you can canoe the Mulberry River. You can stroll down Historic Van Buren and Fort Smith and visit the Hanging Judge Parkers Courthouse. You can also Step Back into the 1920's & Tour the Ozarks on the Scenic Excursion Train in Van Buren. We are also close to wine country. There are 4 winery's within minutes. Our area has something for everyone.

**It’s a 1 bedroom and also has a murphy bed1 bath. No air mattresses. Seeping on living room furniture not allowed for extra guests.

Great Cabin!!
We wanted a secluded getaway for a week and this cabin was perfect. It was bigger than we had thought and was extremely comfortable. The couches and bed were wonderful. One trip to the grocery store and we were set for the week. The cabin is close to shopping and restaurants but far enough away to be secluded. We loved watching the birds, squirrels, and deer go by the front windows. This is on our list for a return trip. The hosts were super to work with. We highly recommend the cabin.

Annual Christmas Family Visit
We always visit our family in the area around this time and its convenient to have a quiet place to come back to after spending all day with them. We dont like to burden them by staying with them and this cabin has treated us well twice now! Quiet cabin with big trees all around. Lots of wildlife. Nicely furnished and comfortable My four grade school aged grandkids had a bear counting challenge within the cabin…..they counted several times and came up with several answers…. …….??? It was perfect for us!

This is a nice cabin with room for up to 4 with the Murphy bed. There is another cabin not far from this one but it is in a secluded spot, not far from Alma and other things to do. For the price it was a good deal. Plenty of room for two and probably four. Saw deer outside playing one morning and out moving just after dusk one evening. I would stay there again.

The cabin was nice once we arrived. Do Not follow google for directions. It will take you to the wrong location. Ask owners for directions. It was frustrating. But once we arrived, the cabin was nice and nicely set up. It would have been nice to have End table by the bed, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing few days
We really enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The cabin was clean and spacious. It was out by itself and only one other cabin by it, but there was no one staying in it. It is close enough to Wal Mart and fast food locations. It was about a 30 minute drive to Van Buren for the railroad trip. Great stay.
