"We were there in july 2024, family of 4. Overall, great country cottage, with everything we needed! Couldn't ask for more!! We felt like home. Near Sandbanks and Picton. And breweries ...btw Slake brewery is a wonderfull place! A lots of games available too ! The outside, hamac, table and the fire pit is wow! Sunsets are amazing! The host was always available for my questions ! And fast response! We really appreciate our week there. I would go back anytime!!"

"We were 3 adults and a child. The cottage supplied numerous games and sports equipment we could used. We were a short walk from the pool, courts, mini putt, ping pong etc. Staff, esp lifeguards, and other residents and renters were very friendly. We were there in a 4 day major heat wave and the air conditioning was up to the task. We hope to come again."

"Renovated nice place 10 feet from water Very nice Water little smell in faucet, but I guess that the cottage thing Nice for fishing and relaxing,even I didn’t catch no fish 😂😭"

"The Gryphon is a perfect location for a group wanting to explore Prince Edward County. The common areas were spacious and each of the 5 bedrooms had its own bathroom. It was a lovely old home and property. "

"Fantastic location and house. So well equipped for cooking and relaxing. Lots of space for the 11 of us to be together, that dining table is amazing, but lots of different smaller spaces for us to hang out in smaller groups. Super clean, comfy beds, fun kayaks and fabulous Sauna. Would highly recommend for family gathering."

"We had such an enjoyable time. The quiet, the surrounding greenery and nearness to Picton made this so rewarding. Apologies about the fee for the dog. We thought that was included in the fee but no problem when notified that we had to pay that directly to the owner and not by Vrbo."

"This is a beautiful cottage , has all the amenities and the hot tub is a great addition. Very clean and easy to get to, perfect for our quiet girls getaway weekend. We can’t wait to come back "

"Very cozy and homy"

"Our family greatly enjoyed our week staying in Watercombe. The waterfront is stunning and we frequently took out the kayaks to explore the bay. All amenities worked very well for us. One note for anyone staying longer (we stayed for a full week) would be that trash and recycling have to be driven out to the main road on collection day and there is not an outdoor bin to store a trash should you generate more than one bag."

"We had a perfect stay! Loved the peacefulness of the area. The dock was beautiful for sunsets and a swim. The owner was so accommodating and easy to reach with any questions we had. We will definitely be back."

"We stayed here as a family of three, with our 4-year old daughter. The cabin overlooks the water, which is really nice to wake up. Randy was very welcoming and available for anything that came up during our stay. They had an early Halloween event for the kids which was such a great touch. Our daughter loved the experience. "We love the Viv and the location and this is our second time staying there. Just a couple of small hiccups - getting the lockbox open was hard to negotiate, the smoke detectors kept Going and had to be changed, the sink needed a stopper which we bought and the sink leaked to the kitchen floor. Otherwise we’d definitely stay again. "

"Some new Reno’s completed and look good. Due to time of year docks had been removed and parking area tight for two vehicles with boats. Home clean kitchen appliances new. "
