"This is a pretty, clean, well-stocked house on the lovely Sheep's Head peninsula. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the TV has Netflix. It's only a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, two restaurants, and a general store. The general store only takes cash. We had a wonderful time walking many miles in beautiful, remote surroundings. The only caution I would give is that there is very little taxi service and only one bus, so plan to bring a car if you want...

"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. "Our family adored our stay at the Fuschia Lodge in County Kerry. Gorgeous property with every available amenity, especially if you're a person who likes to cook and bake during a holiday. The stormy weather with gale force winds didn't bother us as we were snug in our comfy home with views that go on forever across the white capped sea. "

"A beautiful house in a beautiful surrounding! Nothing was missing. The house is very cosy. It could have been a bit cleaner and some small areas don't seem to be finished (missing caulking and some cables for lighting dangling from the ceiling). But overall recommendable and we would stay there again."
