A good choice if you don’t want to stay in Orvieto but want to visit Orvieto and do car trips to other hill town cities including Todi, Bagnoreggio. Also can hike to Rocca Riposena and Sugano directly from the property. "

"We have just returned from 2 months at this property, close to Fabro Scalo. The villa and its amenities were perfectly described, a charming rustic renovated farmhouse with essential air conditioning, a private pool and a fully equipped kitchen. Location wise a car is essential, as there are so many beautiful and charming places to visit within a 1hour radius. The property management were super efficient, always available and helpful but never intrusive. With extremely helpful advice on places to go, entertainment and festival opportunities in the area."

The property is meticulously equipped, ensuring every comfort is at your fingertips, from modern amenities to rustic touches that enhance its charm. It is perfectly positioned to offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape, making every swim a picturesque experience. Having said all that when we were there it was very hot, over 37c (100f) most days, and the cooling hilltop breezes mentioned in the description of the property were no match for the fierce evening and night time temperatures. Leaving the bedroom window and patio doors open only allowed the constant hum of the nearby Autostrada to combine with the heat to prevent a good nights sleep. Air conditioning would certainly be a plus! Also the satellite TV mentioned in the property description is not functional. But all in all, it is a magical property perhaps more so out of high summer.
