"We stayed at this property with our 3 kids for a long weekend of skiing. The property exceeded expectations. It was clean, warm, location was fantastic and the pool was icing on the cake. Even when the kids were tired from skiing, they jumped right in the pool. They slept well each night. "We were able to relax on the generous deck. The kitchen was functional for many to visit and work at the same time The large family room with couches was great for watching the World Cup on the huge TV, disappointing as the outcome was. The many bedrooms accommodated our large family very well."

"The cottage is very cute and a great place for a solo vacation alongside a lake! Everything needed for cooking is available in the kitchen, and plenty of room in the fridge for groceries needed on vacation. I was able to use the kayak available, and it was on a small rolling cart so was easy for me to pull it just down the street to the public launch. "Great communication, great spot for smores, love the basement, well stocked! if you stay in July the temp upstairs is very hot unless you figure out how to hold the AC temp lower on main floor, and it doesn't return to normal settings after 8hrs on its own. I would definitely come back as the relaxing setting is just right for vaca!"

"We love this spot and will come back, either in the Fall to sit around the fire on the patio or next year for Blueberry season. The stars at night were lovely. You're close to Douglas/Saugatuck and can enjoy all they have to offer but return 'home' for quiet evenings and mornings (with a lovely rooster next door). The goodies were much appreciated! "The house is quaint with historical charm. By all accounts the beds were comfortable. We stayed in the winter and so can't speak to the outside amenities. We also didn't travel into town, so I can't speak to that either. The only criticism is that the elders in the family had a hard time finding the house as it is back off the road and the numbers are nailed up on a tree. Admittedly, I also had a moment looking for the house, but I was looking during daylight hours so it was easier to find....

"This place is very cute and stayed really warm during a winter storm which was so fun to experience. The heated bathroom floor and fireplace were much appreciated! In the winter this is not a gorgeous location as without the tree leaves you feel planted in the middle of a parking lot; however, the location allowed us the ability to get to shops and restaurants that stayed open during the snow, wind and very cold temperatures.
