"The apartment is beautifully decorated and of a high standard. The location was perfect for us - lots of shops and restaurants nearby as well as attractions. Bud and train station are also convenient although we didn’t use them. Paid parking lot is right across the street. Overall we loved it here !"

"Loved everything about it, BUT, why was there no place to put all our folded clothes???? A hanging closet with hangers did not work at all for my friend & I. We stayed in a gorgeous room & spent all our time in a room with luggage spewing all our clothes, looking on our knees on the floor in the stacks of clothes. Why is there no place to put your clothes?? Sweaters, socks, underwear, T-shirts Bathing suits, etc.. A huge mess our entire stay. This makes NO sense. We were NOT happy!!!!"

No toilet brush was provided - not normally an issue if the bathroom is cleaned every day. It wasn’t. "As regulars, we love the setting and architectural splendour here. The spa is good. The food, however, is disappointing. Breakfast could be improved with quality bread and hotter cooked food. Pastries quite limited and fruit quite basic. We recommend cooking some bacon to crispy, replacing the bread which is the worst we’ve had in a hotel. "I took my Mum away for a couple of nights mid week and we both absolutely loved the hotel. We were both made to feel really welcome straight away. We enjoyed a lunch on the terrace, coffee and pastries in the drawing room & evening drinks in the hotel. We didn’t get to use the spa facilities or eat in the hotel restaurant (definitely will on our next visit). Our room was comfortable and clean and with a garden view at the back of the hotel, so lovely and quiet, and a really good nights sleep....

"We chose this place because it was close to the City of Bath - but not in the City, and its on the River. It's a beautiful spot, the Old Mill waterwheel still runs, it's super peaceful. There is a restaurant, the food and service were great - even though the Chef only started a week ago. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Highly recommend the Old Mill Hotel in Bath."
