"I honestly choose a resort, but I accidentally choose this area. However, I would recommend for those who are low budget travelers but who are willing to take a break and rest in their amazing hot springs. "I loved my stay at River Song. I was offered an upgrade for no charge upon my arrival. The family who owns River Song were so friendly and kind and welcoming. They made me feel like a member of the family. The property was beautiful and well maintained, and my cabin sat right on Mindo River. The family helped me arrange transportation and helped with tour information. I would definitely stay at River Song again!"

"Incredible. Such a wonderful place to stay in the Mindo area. Really tucked away in the forest but only a 20-25min walk or $3 cab to the town. We stayed in the upper level of the lodge which was wonderfully positioned to watch the birds. Excellent service really recommend. "
