"Difficult to rate. Initially the property felt tired and busy but it grew on us over our 4 day stay and there is a lot to like about it. Relatively good value and the food offerings aren’t overpriced and service charges are shown inclusive in menus which made it easier. I think the cheaper Forrest rooms are better and I don’t think I would want to pay for the superior sea view ones as they were closely spaced and not as good in reality as pictures. "

"Absolutely fabulous hotel on a beautiful beach and the lovely pool area. All the staff were lovely & friendly. Our room was on the 5th floor looking over the pool & beach, the views are stunning. Our room was huge, the bathroom had the best bath/shower area I’ve ever seen with views over the bay ! We tried the 3 different restaurants and all were good. All positive except one: there was a cigar smoking room next to the main bar which made the area smell of smoke, so unpleasant we couldn’t use...

While there isn’t much around apart from a small market, scooters are available on request, which was a huge plus. "This property is really one of its kind, nothing commercialised about it. My mom really enjoyed the scenery and how peaceful it is here, it’s great for a relaxing vacation to just take your mind off things back home. It is the definition of slow living here, and learning to appreciate and be in tune with the beautiful surroundings and unique heritage houses. Bonus point being that there are MANY estate cats here who are very friendly and happy to lounge with us in our room everyday. Loved it...
